Asha Relief & Development Network
What began with our family sharing the little that we had with those in need has multiplied into a network of people who care and are able to help those suffering from the effects of the covid19 lock-down crises here in India. Together we can do so much more. Through the generosity of friends within our network and by the grace of God, we have been able to feed 250 people daily, help 600 migrant workers return to their homes, and distribute ration (Groceries kits), fuel for cooking and other essential supplies to 275 families. Our desire is to feed the hungry, including many children on the streets who don't know where their next meal is coming from. We also want to help our migrant workers & struggling friends to get back on their feet, to find jobs again and be able to provide once again for their families. The covid19 lock-down caused many of the poor among us to lose everything that they had. Let's restore their dignity by providing for immediate needs and envision a better future together.
