In continuation of the other departments’ sessions, a Library Orientation on “To Know About A.C. Joshi Library and Its Services” was conducted through a PPT presentation by Dr. Suman Sumi (In-charge, Reference-I) and a physical tour by Dr. Richa Gupta and Ms. Puja Rai for the freshers of various departments till mid of the November 2025. The orientation aimed to familiarize participants with the library’s resources, services, and facilities, enabling them to make better use of its extensive collection of books, digital resources, and academic materials.

A two day Library Orientation on 'To Know About A.C. Joshi Library and Its Services' was conducted through a PPT presentation by Dr. Suman Sumi (In-charge, Reference-I) and a physical round by Dr. Richa Gupta and Ms. Puja Rai for the freshers of the Department of Library and Information Science. The Library Orientation for Library Science students is a specialized program designed to familiarize future librarians with the core functions and resources of the library system. Its primary aim is to provide a strong foundation for their professional growth by equipping them with the knowledge and skills required to excel in their careers and make meaningful contributions to the field of library science.
