It was a privilege for our department that such a great personality, Suransh Chopra from visited our department and enlightened the students with the basics of python. It was a practical session where students got to learn various facts about python along with an introduction to how it is used in compatibility with machine learning and suggested some courses to follow. We are really thankful to for this knowledgeable event and hope for further future interactions.

Block8, a renowned name in the blockchain community visited the Department on 15th. March'2019. They enlightened the students about "Blockchain".A blockchain, originally block chain,is a growing list of records, called blocks, which are linked using cryptography.
Two of their interns also shared their project about 'Synthetix'. Also, they told about their new venture 'Enosi'.Enosi is disrupting the big power companies, enabling the localisation and decentralisation of power generation which is currently operating in Sydney only. Further, they also shared their experiences on various other topics like cryptoeconomics and bitcoin.It was a great experience for all the students.

CIPHER, the Annual Magazine of Department of Computer Science & Applications , was launched on 6th march, 2019. It is a platform for students to exhibit their talent in the form of designing, various technical and non technical write-ups and articles. DCSA appreciates the power of social media in the Digital era in bringing out the talent and effort put in by the students.
It provides the youth to speak their mind and thus instills in them a sense of individuality.

Glimpses of Epsilon 2k19

Zscalar, a renowned name in IT sector visited DCSA, PU and shared their experience about different issues related to cloud computing. Zscalar enables the world’s leading organizations to securely transform their networks and applications for mobile and cloud first world. Mr. Pavan, Senior Manager of TAC along with Mr. Varun enlightened our students how they operate the world’s largest cloud security platform, protecting thousands of enterprises and government agencies from cyberattacks and data loss.
