🌿🌱 Inauguration of Paudh Mela-2025 🌱🌿

The Forest & Wildlife Department, Chandigarh, organized Paudh Mela on 📅 19.07.2025 at 📍 Lake Club parking area as part of Van Mahotsav 2025 🌳. The event was inaugurated by Sh. Rajeev Verma, Chief Secretary, UT Chandigarh 🎖️. Over 20 thematic stalls 🏕️ showcased efforts in 🌲 forest conservation, ⚡ renewable energy, and eco-friendly innovations. CREST displayed 🚗 electric vehicles, while NGOs and school eco clubs 👩‍🎓👨‍🎓 exhibited ♻️ sustainable products. Eco-Club Awards 🏆 were given for environmental excellence. A major highlight was the 🚐 flagging off of the Wildlife Rescue Van & motorbikes 🏍️ under CAMPA, strengthening 🐾 wildlife rescue operations.

All Citizens, Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs), NGOs and other Organizations in UT Chandigarh are requested to kindly submit details of the number of saplings planted from 🌱 5th July 2025 onwards during the Van Mahotsav–2025 celebrations.
