Police teams have continued its drive against drugs “Yudh Nashian Virudh” for the 586th day. Punjab Police teams arrested drug smugglers and recovered 5.6 kg he**in, 5 kg o***m, 4.2 kg g***a, 648 intoxicant pills and ₹500 drug money from their possession. With this, the total number of drug smugglers arrested has reached to 83,457 in 586 days. As part of De-addiction, the Punjab Police has convinced 31 persons to undergo de-addiction and rehabilitation treatment.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann launched the ‘HUNAR Punjab’ and ‘Fast-Track Punjab’ portals in Chandigarh. He stated that to maintain investor confidence, the Punjab Government has launched two major portals. The ‘HUNAR Punjab’ portal has been launched to provide the youth of the state with employment opportunities close to their homes and to ensure that industries have access to skilled workers. Alongside this, the ‘Financial Incentives Module’ (Passbook) of ‘Fast-Track Punjab’ has been launched to provide investors with transparent information about the facilities and incentives available to them.

As the decisive ‘Gangsteran Te Vaar’ campaign enters its 261st day, Punjab Police conducted 557 raids at identified and mapped locations linked to associates of gangsters across the state. On Day 261, Police teams arrested individuals and recovered one weapon, taking the total arrests to 77,071 since the launch of the campaign.

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਡਰੱਗ ਹੌਟਸਪੌਟਸ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਲਈ ਜੈਤੋ ਵਿੱਚ 133 CCTV ਕੈਮਰੇ ਲਗਾਏ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਸਕੂਲੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਮਾੜੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਜਾਣੂ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਵੀ ਕਰਵਾਈਆਂ ਜਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ Bhagwant Mann ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲਾਭਪਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਇਦਾਦ ਮਾਲਕੀ ਹੱਕ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣ ਪੱਤਰ ਸੌਂਪੇ ਗਏ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਤੀਜੇ ਗੇੜ ਤਹਿਤ 16 ਨਵੰਬਰ ਤੋਂ 26 ਨਵੰਬਰ ਤੱਕ ਅਤੇ ਚੌਥੇ ਗੇੜ ਤਹਿਤ 1 ਦਸੰਬਰ ਤੋਂ 25 ਦਸੰਬਰ ਤੱਕ ਕੰਮ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ 25 ਦਸੰਬਰ ਤੱਕ ਲਗਭਗ ਢਾਈ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਮਿਆਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਟੀਚਾ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said Punjab has ended the decades-long wait for ownership rights to houses built in the Lal Lakir, handing Property Ownership Certificates to families under the ‘Mera Ghar Mere Naam’ scheme and marking the beginning of a process that will provide legally recorded ownership, mapped property boundaries and access to institutional credit. He said the initiative will particularly benefit poor, Dalit and landless families whose houses were earlier not part of government records, while accurate maps and revenue records will help resolve long-standing property disputes. After distributing the property ownership cards in Dhuri, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann said the State has also initiated the process of freeing Punjab from the Lal Lakir, with around 4,000 villages set to receive proper registrations soon.
