ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਪਛਾਣ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਅਮੀਰ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਮੰਤਵ ਨਾਲ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਦੋ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਜੈਕਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਮੀਖਿਆ ਕੀਤੀ। ਸੈਰ-ਸਪਾਟਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਉੱਚ-ਪੱਧਰੀ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਗੀ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਸ਼ੰਭੂ ਸਰਹੱਦ 'ਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਸੁਆਗਤੀ ਗੇਟ ਦੀ ਉਸਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ 'ਪੰਜ-ਆਬ' ਪਛਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਸਤੂ ਕਲਾ ਦੀ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਦੇ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਸੋਧੇ ਹੋਏ ਹੈਰੀਟੇਜ ਸਟਰੀਟ ਪ੍ਰਾਜੈਕਟ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।

Chairing a high-level meeting of the Tourism and Cultural Affairs Department, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann approved the construction of a grand Welcome Gate at the Shambhu border, designed to celebrate Punjab’s ‘Panj-ab’ identity and architectural legacy, while also clearing the revised Heritage Street project at Sri Anandpur Sahib.

ਪ੍ਰਾਈਵੇਟ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮਨਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਫੀਸਾਂ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਸਿਲਸਿਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਭਰ ਦੇ ਲੱਖਾਂ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੰਬੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਉਡੀਕੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਰਾਹਤ ਦੇਣ ਦੇ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਨਾਲ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕਦਿਆਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਾਲੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਰੈਗੂਲੇਟਰੀ ਢਾਂਚੇ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤਹਿਤ ਸਲਾਨਾ ਫ਼ੀਸ ਵਾਧੇ 'ਤੇ 5 ਫ਼ੀਸਦੀ ਦੀ ਹੱਦ ਲਗਾਈ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਾਲਾਨਾ ਹੱਦ ਦੀ ਉਲੰਘਣਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵਸੂਲੀ ਗਈ ਵਾਧੂ ਫ਼ੀਸ ਵਾਪਸ ਕਰਨੀ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।

In a landmark move aimed at ending arbitrary fee hikes by private schools and providing long-awaited relief to lakhs of families across Punjab, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann led Punjab Government, has announced a sweeping regulatory framework that caps annual fee increases at 5%, mandates refunds of excess fees collected from parents wherever schools breached the annual limit during the last three years, and prescribes stringent penalties that can ultimately lead to cancellation of a school’s recognition.

ਸੂਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾਕੁੰਨ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ’ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਵਾਰ’ ਦੇ 134ਵੇਂ ਦਿਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਛਾਣੇ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਪ ਕੀਤੇ 526 ਟਿਕਾਣਿਆਂ ’ਤੇ ਛਾਪੇਮਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੱਤ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕੁੱਲ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀਆਂ 33,612
ਹੋ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ।

As the decisive ‘Gangsteran Te Vaar’ campaign enters its 134th day, Punjab Police conducted 526 raids at identified and mapped locations linked to associates of gangsters across the state. Police teams arrested several individuals and recovered seven weapons. The total number of arrests has reached 33,612 since the launch of the campaign.

ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ‘ਯੁੱਧ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ' ਨੂੰ 459ਵੇਂ ਦਿਨ ਵੀ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਦਿਆਂ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਤਸਕਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਬਜ਼ੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 18.4 ਕਿਲੋ ਹੈਰੋਇਨ, 570 ਨਸ਼ੀਲੀਆਂ ਗੋਲੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ 11,487 ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਡਰੱਗ ਮਨੀ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਸਿਰਫ਼ 459 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਕੁੱਲ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਤਸਕਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ 66,473 ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ।

Police teams have continued its drive against drugs “Yudh Nashian Virudh” for 459th day. Following the arrest of the drug smugglers the teams recovered 18.4kg he**in, 570 intoxicant tablets, and ₹11,487 in drug money from their possession. With this, the number of total drug smugglers arrested has reached to 66,473 in 459 days.
