The day the world stood shocked in horror, marking one of the darkest chapters in human history.
On August 6, 1945, the atomic bombing of Hiroshima unleashed unimaginable devastation, claiming over a hundred thousand innocent lives and leaving a legacy of suffering that spanned generations. Today, we remember the victims, their families, and the absolute cruelty of nuclear warfare.
It remains a profound irony that the nation behind this catastropheโthe self-appointed global policemanโcontinues to maintain a massive nuclear arsenal while lecturing the rest of the world on peace. True peace cannot be built on a foundation of nuclear deterrence and hypocrisy.
As we observe Hiroshima Day, let us look beyond selective advocacy and commit to a genuinely nuclear-free world. True global security lies in total disarmament, not in the selective hoarding of weapons of mass destruction.
