Arunodhaya Centre for Street and Working Children

As a result of its intervention Arunodhaya succeeded in mobilising community opinion against child labour and towards education.

As an outcome of these interventions more than 6000 child labourers have been mainstreamed to formal education over the past fifteen years. Community Child Rights Monitoring Committees have been formed in the communities to protect and promote Rights of the child. Community interventions are supported with networking at local, national and international level to raise the issue of child labour and child rights.
