Deeply saddened at the passing away of Selvi Jayalalithaa. Her demise has left a huge void in Indian politics.

Jayalalithaa ji’s connect with citizens, concern for welfare of the poor, the women & marginalized will always be a source of inspiration.

My thoughts and prayers are with the people of Tamil Nadu in this hour of grief.

May the Almighty grant them the strength to bear this irreparable loss with courage and fortitude.

I will always cherish the innumerable occasions when I had the opportunity to interact with Jayalalithaa ji. May her soul rest in peace

For people looking for clear routes.. This is the one I used this morning...
GST road is clear!
Started from chengalpatu... Crossed paranur Sp koil guduvancherry urapakkam vandalur perungulathur tambaram pallavaram chromepet and reached alandur... Route is clear till guindy... Crossed the stretch from chengalpatu to alandur in 35 minutes
From Alandur if you want to reach koyambedu CMRL is ur best option.
There is a huge queue at Alandur... Took us 45 minutes to get tickets... There are separate queues for ladies and they get tickets quickly... Trains are frequent... Avoid ashok nagar.. Looks pretty bad from top... Saidapet is also hit bad... From cmbt there are many buses and the traffic is pretty ok....
Reached in around 2 hours ....Chennai bypass is also clear till Nolambur... There is some water stagnation near the place where you leave the bypass and get under ambattur... the route I took is a relatively safe and easy one... Please pass it on... Your friends could use it...
