Kalpavriksham Trust in collaboration with Shailaja Mahesh Foundation and Privaram Hospital organized an iBreast screening camp and cancer awareness session under Project ARISE at Suseelamma Old Age Home, Thirunindravur on 25 May 2026.
The initiative focused on early detection and health education for elderly women. 23 beneficiaries were impacted by I breast screening
through this program.

Kalpavriksham Trust in collaboration with Global Cancer Concer India and Privaram Hospital conducted a Cancer Awareness Talk on May 14, 2026 at Tamilnadu Petroproducts Limited, Manali, Chennai.
As a part of Project Shakthi, the session led by , Senior Radiation Oncologist, created an impact for over 70 employees through an interactive and vibrant discussion focussing on wellness and health.
The core of the session was early detection of cancers, preventive oncology, HPV vaccines and guidance on dietary and lifestyle choices.
Through Project Shakthi we strongly believe - Awareness today can save lives tomorrow.

Cancer Awareness Talk at Sevalaya Mahakavi Bharathiyar Community College, Ambattur – 20/05/2026
Organized by Kalpavriksham Trust in collaboration with Privaram Cancer Hospital, a Cancer Awareness Session was conducted at Sevalaya Mahakavi Bharathiyar Community College, Ambattur.
The session benefited a total of 30 students and focused on the importance of breast and cervical cancer prevention, early detection, Mammogram and Pap Smear screenings, and the role of the HPV vaccine in women’s health. Participants were encouraged to adopt proactive healthcare practices and spread awareness within the community.
Together, we continue to empower communities through awareness, prevention, and informed health decisions for a healthier future.

Organized by Kalpavriksham Trust in collaboration with Privaram Cancer Hospital, a Cancer Awareness Talk was conducted at Ponniammanmedu, Kosavan Palayam, Thiruninravur.
The session benefited a total of 12 members and focused on the importance of Mammogram and Pap Smear screenings in the early detection and prevention of breast and cervical cancers. Participants were educated about the procedures, benefits, and the importance of timely screenings for better health outcomes.
The initiative aimed to empower the community through awareness and encourage proactive healthcare practices for a healthier future.

Cancer Awareness Talk at Susheelamma Old Age Home, PonniamanMedu, Thiruninravur – 18/05/2026
Organized by Kalpavriksham Trust in collaboration with Privaram Cancer Hospital, a Cancer Awareness Talk was conducted for the senior citizens of Susheelamma Old Age Home, PonniamanMedu, Thiruninravur.
The session benefited a total of 35 elderly members and focused on the importance of regular health check-ups, early cancer detection, and preventive healthcare practices. Special emphasis was given to Mammogram and Pap Smear screenings, highlighting how timely screening can help detect breast and cervical cancers at an early stage and improve treatment outcomes.

With successful events on 8th May, Project Shakthi brought awareness to Thiruvallur.
