The Leather Sector Skill Council (LSSC) invites eligible organizations to submit Expressions of Interest (EOI) for empanelment as Training Partners.

We welcome applications from NGOs, educational institutions, industries, training providers, and implementation agencies across India to collaborate in skill development programs in the leather, footwear, leather goods, and leather garments sectors.

Shri Atul Kumar Mishra, Interim CEO, LSSC, and Shahzeb Alam, Manager – Employer Relations, LSSC, attended “उद्योगों के साथ सहभागिता सम्मेलन 2026” organized in Patna under the Bihar Skill Development Mission, Department of Youth, Employment & Skill Development.

The conference showcased a strong vision to position Bihar as a leading skill hub of the country through enhanced collaboration between industries and skill development initiatives.

The discussions emphasized strengthening industry participation to build a future-ready skilled workforce and expand meaningful employment opportunities for the youth of Bihar.

It is with profound sadness that I offer my heartfelt condolences on the passing of Mr. Irshad Ahmed Mecca, Managing Director of Farida Group and son of Mr. Rafeeque Ahmed Mecca, Chairperson, Farida Group and Former Chairman, CLE.

His vision, dedication, and contribution to the leather and footwear industry earned him immense respect and admiration. He will always be remembered for his leadership and humility.
