It is all about Mulch Mulch Mulch on our farm.

We take our soil and mulch very seriously! After ensuring accelerated microbial action with fresh manure and heavy mulch, we have sown legumes like green gram, chickpea and groundnut. Legumes help in fixing nitrogen into the soil. These will be chopped as they go to flower in the next 3 weeks and will be used as 'MULCH' again!

Cardboards put to good use; to mulch the pathways and help reduce w**d growth.

Meanwhile, our marigold is in full bloom!

We took everything amazing about Diwali and gave it the 'STEP' twist!

'STEP Diwali' was all about positivity, light, colours, sweetness, mother earth, and community.

The upcycling 'Diya Art' was a stellar hit with the kids and they were totally glued on to it with rapt attention. All we had to do was gather some old CDs, Bangles and allow them to create the magic.

The 'Rangoli Relay' made children understand the importance of collective effort; thereby reinforcing the significance of community especially during festivals.

What's a festival without something sweet! Children had a great time decorating their own cup cakes.

We, also, discovered the most potent bomb needed this Diwali - 'Seeds Bombs'. Everyone was totally enthusiastic about the concept and were eager to share it with their friends after the school break.

Needless to say, the positive and radiant energy within children greatly inspired the adults too.

We had a great time celebrating shraddha's fifth birthday!

We started the evening with our 'Nature Games' where shraddha and her friends learnt the importance of saving water and planting trees through fun-filled games. They learned the hazards of chopping trees through a simple yet highly engaging cone game.

This was followed by a series of activities on the obstacle course and finally a tug-of-war for all.

Overall, a great evening!
