Lumpy skin disease (L*D) has been decimating cattle in India. These measures can help stop its spread:

✅Vaccination
✅Early detection
✅Zoning (identifying affected area)
✅Movement controls
✅Removal of clinically affected animals
✅Cleaning, disinfection and proper disposal

Vaccination is critical in the fight against L*D. In fact, even total stamping-out (killing all clinically affected cattle and unaffected herd-mates) and partial stamping-out (killing only those affected) are unlikely to eradicate L*D without vaccination.
