I feel privileged to share an article on Professor Kamala Kumari Patnaik, which has come up in today's Sambad on her 90th Birth Anniversary. We owe a lot to Dr. Gobinda Chandra Chand, respected figure in Odia literature and President, Utkal Sahitya Samaj, as he has succinctly put his emotions into words while paying tributes to Professor Kamala Kumari Patnaik.

Shri Girija Bhusan Patnaik was successful in giving a good shape to his brainchild, "The Universe", because of unflinching support by Professor Kamala Kumari Patnaik.

I take this opportunity to offer homage to my revered mother. 🙏

Professor Debi Prasanna Pattanayak is an internationally acclaimed linguist and social scientist. Though a nonagenarian, he is agile and very much engrossed in social activities. As per our request, he penned an article on Dr. Harekrushna Mahatab in a befitting manner and shared his personal experiences. Yesterday, I felt honoured to present him a copy of the souvenir, released on the occasion of the 125th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Harekrushna Mahatab.

The Birth Centenary of Shri Janaki Ballabh Patnaik is an opportune occasion for us to pay our glowing tributes to the multifaceted personality, who had passionately influenced the collective psyche of Odisha as an acclaimed journalist, eminent litterateur and political statesman. As the Chief Minister of Odisha, he had taken many transformative measures. As a result of which, there was a significant development of Odisha, especially in the field of agriculture, education, industry and tourism.

Shri Girija Bhusan Patnaik, founder of The Universe, had had a long standing relationship with Shri janaki Ballabh Patnaik. On many occasions, Janaki Babu had graced our organization, The Universe. We cherish many occasions like the inauguration of Sanskriti Bhawan at The Universe, the release of books penned by Girija Babu and as distinguished speaker, when Janaki Babu had always been gracious enough to be present and enthralled the audience with his literary greatness.

We pay homage to the pride of Odisha on his Birth Centenary Celebration.

It was an honour for me to give a copy of the Souvenir to Shri Manoranjan Panigrahi, former Principal Income Tax Commissioner, Odisha and former Secretary, Culture, Govt. of Odisha, at his residence in Bhubaneswar.
