Question 1 - What is the purpose of registration of a document of transfer of immovable property?

Answer- (a) The purpose of registration of a document of transfer of immovable property is that after registration, the document of transfer becomes a permanent public record. A public record can be inspected by any person and a certified copy can be obtained from the office of Sub-Registrar. Registration of a document is a notice to the general public that such immovable property has been transferred by the owner to the buyer. Those persons
who are interested in purchasing that immovable property should verify from the records- index available in the office of Sub-Registrar, in whose name the last transfer deed has been registered.
(b) According to section 54 of the Transfer of Property Act, 1882 (4 of 1882) right, title or interest in immovable property can be transferred only by a registered instrument.

6. Online monitoring of land acquisition to address the difficulties in implementing development projects on account of delay in land acquisition process in various districts.

7. Restoration of Ac.5034.705 of Govt. land fraudulently appropriated by private persons, to Government Khata through Special Cell;

8. Completion of Biennial Revision of Bench Mark Valuation in 11 districts

M/S IIC Technologies, Hyderabad has got permission for landing & take of of Aircraft on the State Govt owned Airstrips at Jamdarpalli, of Hirakud, Tusura of Bolangir, Sativata near Padmapur, and Nuapada of Nuapada District. The flying will be commenced from 27-02-1015 from Hirakud for taking photographs to be used in Hi-tech Survey being implemented by Govt Odisha under NLRMP Project through Survey & Map Publication, Odisha, Cuttack.
