Congress should be ashamed of itself. Rahul Gandhi, the so-called "Yuvraj," appears more focused on his ambition to become the Prime Minister than on safeguarding India's democratic institutions. If political interests encourage unrest or undermine law and order, it raises serious questions that deserve public scrutiny.
The situation in Delhi is deeply concerning and should be addressed firmly and within the framework of the Constitution and the law. Any individual who attacks police personnel or engages in violence must be held accountable, irrespective of political affiliation or ideology. Freedom of expression is a fundamental right, but it does not extend to violence, destruction of public property, or assaulting law enforcement officers.
India's democracy is strongest when peaceful protest is protected and unlawful acts are dealt with impartially and decisively. The law must apply equally to everyone, without fear or favour.
