भगवान शिव को समर्पित पंच केदारों में एक चतुर्थ केदार श्री रूद्रनाथ जी मंदिर जनपद चमोली में स्थित है। चारधाम यात्रा में चमोली प्रवास के दौरान भगवान रुद्रनाथ मंदिर के दर्शन अवश्य करें। यहां भगवान शिव के दक्षिणमुखी मुखारबिंद के दर्शन होते हैं।

पंच केदार में शामिल रुद्रनाथ मंदिर के कपाट 18 मई को खुलेंगे. रुद्रनाथ मंदिर पंच केदरों में चतुर्थ केदार स्थान पर आता है. संरक्षित क्षेत्र के पर्यावरण एवं पारिस्थितिकी को ध्यान में रखते हुए इस बार रोजाना 140 श्रद्धालुओं को ही रुद्रनाथ मंदिर जाने की अनुमति दी जाएगी. इसके लिए भी रजिस्ट्रेशन अनिवार्य किया गया है. केदारनाथ वन्य जीव प्रभाग ने यात्रियों के ऑनलाइन रजिस्ट्रेशन के लिए https://kedarnathwildlife.uk.gov.in/ वेबसाइट तैयार की है.

19 मई को भगवान मदमहेश्वर की चल विग्रह उत्सव डोली शीतकालीन गद्दी स्थल ओकारेश्वर मन्दिर से धाम के लिए रवाना होगी. विभिन्न यात्रा पड़ावों से होते हुए डोली 21 मई को मदमहेश्वर धाम पहुंचेगी. इसी दिन मदमहेश्वर धाम के कपाट खोले जाएंगे.
