"सस्टेनेबल ग्राउंडवाटर मैनेजमेंट" विषयक एक दिवसीय प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम का आयोजन

दिनाँक 18 मार्च 2026 को यूकॉस्ट, स्कूल ऑफ एग्रीकल्चरल साइंस एसजीआरआर विश्वविद्यालय देहरादून और सेंट्रल ग्राउंड वॉटर बोर्ड, उत्तरांचल क्षेत्र (जल शक्ति मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार) द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से "सस्टेनेबल ग्राउंडवाटर मैनेजमेंट" विषयक एक दिवसीय प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम का आयोजन एसजीआरआर विश्वविद्यालय, देहरादून में किया गया।

प्रथम तकनीकी सत्र में सीजीडब्ल्यूबी उत्तरांचल क्षेत्र के निदेशक डॉ. प्रशांत राय ने "हाइड्रोजियोलॉजिकल स्टडीज इन उत्तराखंड", डॉ. विकास तोमर वैज्ञानिक सीजीडब्ल्यूबी ने "बेसिक्स आफ हाइड्रोलॉजी, हाइड्रोजियोलॉजी एंड फील्ड एप्लीकेशंस" एवं डॉ. भवतोष शर्मा वैज्ञानिक यूकॉस्ट ने "वॉटर रिसोर्स मैनेजमेंट विद स्पेशल रेफरेंस टू एग्रीकल्चरल प्रैक्टिसेज" विषयों पर व्याख्यान दिए तथा दीर्घकालिक जल सुरक्षा के लिए वैज्ञानिक दृष्टिकोण को पारंपरिक प्रथाओं के साथ एकीकृत करने की आवश्यकता पर बल दिया। विशेषज्ञों ने भूजल संरक्षण, क्षेत्रीय चुनौतियां, नीतियों और स्थायी प्रैक्टिसेज पर उपस्थित प्रतिभागियों को विस्तार से बताया।

द्वितीय तकनीकी सत्र में प्रतिभागियों को ग्राउंड वॉटर रिचार्ज विधियों, सही साइट का चयन, भूजल टेबल, भूजल गुणवत्ता की निगरानी पर हैंड्स-ऑन प्रशिक्षण प्रदान किया गया।

कार्यक्रम में विश्वविद्यालय के रजिस्ट्रार डॉ लोकेश गंभीर, कृषि विभाग की डीन डॉ. प्रियंका बनकोटी, डॉ ए.के. सक्सेना, वैज्ञानिक डॉ दीपा गुप्ता आदि प्रमुख रूप से उपस्थित रहे। स्नातक एवं स्नातकोत्तर छात्र-छात्राओं, शोध छात्रों, संकाय सदस्यों और किसानों सहित लगभग 150 प्रतिभागियों ने सक्रिय रूप से कार्यक्रम में भाग लिया।

यूकॉस्ट द्वारा विश्व जल दिवस-2026 कार्यक्रम का आयोजन :-

दिनांक 20 मार्च 2026 को उत्तराखंड राज्य विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी परिषद (यूकॉस्ट) द्वारा एसआईएमएस संस्थान के संयुक्त तत्वाधान में विश्व जल दिवस-2026 कार्यक्रम का आयोजन एसआईएमएस संस्थान के परिसर में इस वर्ष की थीम "वाटर एंड जेंडर" विषय पर किया गया।
कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में राजकीय उपजिला चिकित्सालय प्रेम नगर के सीएमएस डॉ परमार्थ जोशी ने इस अवसर पर पानी को बचाने में महिलाओं की भागीदारी को महत्वपूर्ण बताया। कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता एसआईएमएस संस्थान के अध्यक्ष श्री तुषार सिंघल ने की।

तकनीकी सत्र का प्रथम व्याख्यान भारतीय वन्यजीव संस्थान की वरिष्ठ वैज्ञानिक एवं भारत सरकार के नेशनल मिशन फॉर क्लीन गंगा (NMCG) की समन्वयक डॉ संगीता एंगोम ने "जल संसाधन एवं भारतीय वन्यजीवों का संरक्षण" विषय पर विस्तार से व्याख्यान दिया । उन्होंने अपने व्याख्यान में हिमालयी राज्यों में पाए जाने वाले प्राकृतिक जल संसाधनों और उन पर आश्रित विभिन्न वन्यजीवों के संरक्षण पर बल दिया। उन्होंने जल संसाधनों के संरक्षण, प्रबंधन हेतु बनाई जाने वाली नीतियों के निर्माण में महिलाओं के योगदान को महत्वपूर्ण बताया।

तकनीकी सत्र का द्वितीय व्याख्यान यूकॉस्ट की वैज्ञानिक डॉ मंजू सुंदरियाल ने "उत्तराखंड राज्य में जल संसाधनों के संरक्षण में मातृ
शक्ति का योगदान" विषय पर विशेषज्ञ व्याख्यान दिया। उन्होंने उत्तराखंड की परंपरागत जल संस्कृति के विषय में बताया।

तकनीकी सत्र का तृतीय व्याख्यान यूकॉस्ट के वैज्ञानिक एवं कार्यक्रम समन्वयक डॉ भवतोष शर्मा ने "जल संसाधनों के प्रबंधन एवं संरक्षण में परंपरागत भारतीय ज्ञान विज्ञान की भूमिका एवं वर्तमान विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी के अनुप्रयोग" विषय पर व्याख्यान दिया । उन्होंने अपने व्याख्यान में उत्तराखंड राज्य के साथ-साथ भारतीय हिमालयी क्षेत्र में जल संसाधनों की उपलब्धता, उनके संरक्षण के तरीके, प्राचीन जल संरक्षण परंपरा और आधुनिक विज्ञान एवं तकनीकी, वर्षा जल संचयन, कृषि में जल संरक्षण के साथ साथ यूकास्ट के 'मां धरा नमन कार्यक्रम, जल शिक्षा कार्यक्रम' के विषय में विस्तार से बताते हुए जल संरक्षण संबंधी सभी कार्यों में महिलाओं की भूमिका को महत्वपूर्ण बताया।

कार्यक्रम में संस्थान की प्राचार्य डॉ ज्योति पंत ने "जल की गुणवत्ता एवं मानव स्वास्थ्य" विषय पर बोलते हुए सभी से जल का संरक्षण करने, जल प्रदूषित न करने एवं शुद्ध जल का सेवन करने का आवाहन किया।

कार्यक्रम में संस्थान के छात्र-छात्राओं द्वारा विश्व जल दिवस की इस वर्ष की थीम "वाटर एंड जेंडर" विषय पर रंगोली प्रतियोगिता, वॉल पेंटिंग प्रतियोगिता एवं फेस पेंटिंग प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया एवं इन तीनों प्रतियोगिताओं के प्रथम, द्वितीय, तृतीय स्थान के विजेताओं को प्रशस्ति पत्र एवं मेडल से सम्मानित किया गया।

कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित समस्त विशेषज्ञों अतिथियों शिक्षकों एवं विद्यार्थियों द्वारा संस्थान की परिसर में अर्जुन, हरड़, रीठा आदि के पौधों का रोपण किया गया। कार्यक्रम के अंत में संस्थान की प्राचार्य डॉ ज्योति पंत ने सभी का धन्यवाद ज्ञापन किया ।
कार्यक्रम में शिक्षक शिक्षिकाओं एवं छात्र-छात्राओं सहित 160 से अधिक प्रतिभागियों ने प्रतिभाग किया। कार्यक्रम में आरती चौहान, गीतांजलि धनिक, पैरामेडिकल के प्राचार्य डॉ माइल बनन, प्रेम नगर उप जिला चिकित्सालय के श्री संदीप भट्ट आदि मुख्य रूप से उपस्थित रहे।

National Science Day and Valedictory Session of Innovation Festival Organized at Regional Science Centre, UCOST, 28 February 2026:-

National Science Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the Regional Science Centre, UCOST on 28 February 2026, culminating in the Valedictory Session of the two day Innovation Festival. This year’s National Science Day theme, was "Women in Science: Catalysing Viksit Bharat". The program highlighted the importance of nurturing scientific talent and innovation among young minds. The Valedictory Session was graced by Shri Munna Singh Chauhan, MLA, Vikasnagar, Dehradun, as the Chief Guest. In his address, he emphasized that fostering scientific temperament is essential for societal progress and sustainable development. He encouraged students to actively engage in science and innovation to contribute towards nation-building. He inspired students to develop leadership qualities. Professor Durgesh Pant, Director General UCOST, emphasized that science forms the foundation of innovation and encouraged students to adopt an innovative approach in all their endeavors. He also highlighted the various activities and initiatives undertaken by UCOST to promote science, technology communication and popularization
A vibrant Science March was organized to draw attention to contemporary scientific issues. More than 200 students from various schools across Dehradun participated, including The Arcadia School, Junior High School Sudhowala, Junior High School Dhulkot, Junior High School Kharakhet, and Primary School Parade Ground.
A special session chaired by Prof. Bhanu Duggal, Vice Chancellor of HNB Uttarakhand Medical Education University, focused on advancements and innovations in the medical sector. She delivered an insightful lecture on emerging trends and research-driven developments in healthcare.
Another special session titled “Inspiring Innovation” was conducted by the Advisor, Science City and Former Director General of National Council of Science Museums (NCSM). The session provided valuable career guidance and motivated students to explore opportunities in science and technology.
A Science Demonstration Lecture featuring hands-on experiments further captivated the participants, encouraging experiential learning and curiosity-driven inquiry. Dr DP Uniyal, Joint Director UCOST, presented the program report of Innovation Festival 2026.
During the Valedictory Session, winners of various competitions—including Rangoli, Extempore, Quiz, Poster, Model, and Drama were felicitated by the Chief Guest.
On the occasion, a book featuring a collection of Holi songs authored by Shri Navin Bisht was also inaugurated.
The event concluded with a vibrant cultural programme and Holi Milan celebration, where artists Shri Hem Pant and team from NINAAD Foundation delivered a captivating performance. More than 300 students, along with officials from UCOST and the Regional Science Centre, participated in and contributed to the success of the programme.

The celebration of National Science Day at the Regional Science Centre, UCOST, successfully reinforced the spirit of inquiry, innovation, and scientific awareness among students, aligning with the national vision of building a scientifically empowered and developed India.

Inauguration of Two-day Innovation Festival at Regional Science Centre, UCOST, Dehradun:-
The two-day Innovation Festival was inaugurated on 27 February 2026 at the Uttarakhand State Council for Science and Technology (UCOST), Vigyan Dham. The Chief Guest, Shri Anand Bardhan, IAS, Chief Secretary, Government of Uttarakhand, formally inaugurated the festival. Shri Nitesh Kumar Jha, IAS Secretary, Science & Technology, Good Governance and Information Technology, Government of Uttarakhand, graced the occasion as Guest of Honour.

Addressing the gathering, Shri Anand Bardhan emphasized that science, technology and innovation are essential parts of everyday life and encouraged students to actively engage in scientific pursuits.

Shri Nitesh Kumar Jha highlighted the key activities and initiatives undertaken by the Department of Science and Technology to promote innovation and scientific temper in the state.

Prof. Durgesh Pant, Director General, Uttarakhand State Council for Science and Technology (UCOST), elaborated on the objectives of the Innovation Festival, stating that it aims to provide a common platform for students, startups and innovators across Uttarakhand to showcase their ideas and technological advancements.

During their visit to Vigyan Dham the dignitaries toured the Science City construction site and various facilities at UCOST, including new science Community radio station (Vigyan Vani) for developing scientific tamper in society, Biodiversity Park, hydroponic setup, water lab, knowledge management center, Intellectual property rights cell, Science education research wing and other key infrastructure and sections.

An exhibition on Science, Technology and Innovation was also inaugurated on the occasion, where innovative projects and startups displayed their work.

The first panel discussion was held on the theme “Women in Science and Innovation: Inspiring the Next Generation.” Women entrepreneurs from various parts of Uttarakhand participated in the session. The panellists included Dr. Reema Pant (Educationist), Ms. Meenakshi Khati (Aipan Project), Ms. Himani Goswami (Vikasya), and Ms. Namita Tamta (Baba Agrotech).

The second panel discussion, titled “Innovation to Impact: Role of Science Startups and Banking Support,” focused on strengthening the startup ecosystem. Dr. Bhuwan Joshi, Deputy Head, Udaipur Solar Observatory, Mr. Ajay Rawat from Astroverse, Haldwani, and Dr. Peyush Goyal, Emeritus Scientist, UCOST, shared their insights on innovation and entrepreneurship. A range of student competitions, including rangoli, drama, quiz, extempore, poster and model competitions, were organized during the festival. Workshops on creativity, artificial intelligence, robotics and STEM were also conducted to enhance practical learning. A special session on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and career guidance was organized, with a lecture delivered by Dr. D.P. Uniyal, Joint Director, UCOST. The Innovation Festival successfully brought together policymakers, scientists, entrepreneurs and students, fostering a spirit of innovation and collaboration across Uttarakhand. UCOST and RSC officials and more than 300 Students from various schools and colleges -SARC Education Nepal, Students from HimJyoti Public Schools, Selaqui International School, Tons Bridge Schools, St Joseph Academy, Uttaranchal University etc participated in this Innovation Fest.

उत्तराखंड राज्य विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी परिषद (यूकॉस्ट) द्वारा संचालित "जल शिक्षा कार्यक्रम" के अंतर्गत आज दिनांक 31 जनवरी 2026 को "उत्तराखंड के जल संसाधनः वर्तमान परिदृश्य, चुनौतियां एवं सतत समाधान (वाटर रिसोर्सेज ऑफ़ उत्तराखंड: "प्रेजेंट स्टेटस, इमर्जिंग चैलेंजेज एंड सस्टेनेबल सॉल्यूशंस) विषय पर विशेषज्ञ व्याख्यान का आयोजन परिषद के सभागार में किया गया ।

कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता करते हुए यूकॉस्ट के महानिदेशक प्रो. दुर्गेश पंत ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि यूकॉस्ट द्वारा जल स्रोतों के महत्व को देखते हुए आम जनमानस एवं विद्यार्थियों को जोड़ने के उद्देश्य से वाटर एजुकेशन कार्यक्रम प्रादेशिक स्तर पर चलाया जा रहा है जिसका उद्देश्य है कि प्रदेश के जल संसाधनों का संरक्षण एवं उनके वैज्ञानिक अध्ययन कम्युनिटी पार्टिसिपेशन के माध्यम से आगे बढ़ाया जाए । उन्होंने हिमालय से निकलने वाली नदियों, जलधारों, ग्लेशियर आदि को मानव जीवन के साथ-साथ जैव विविधता के अस्तित्व के लिए बहुत आवश्यक बताया। प्रो. पंत ने कहा कि भविष्य की जल चुनौतियों से निपटने के लिए जल स्रोतों का वैज्ञानिक अध्ययन बहुत आवश्यक है । उन्होंने कहा कि यूकॉस्ट द्वारा 'मां धरा नमन' कार्यक्रम के माध्यम से प्रदेश के 100 विभिन्न जल स्रोतों का संरक्षण एवं वैज्ञानिक अध्ययन प्रारंभ किया गया है।

इस अवसर पर यूकॉस्ट के संयुक्त निदेशक डॉ डी.पी. उनियाल ने यूकॉस्ट द्वारा राज्य भर में चलाए जा रहे विभिन्न वैज्ञानिक कार्यक्रमों व परियोजनाओं पर प्रकाश डाला ।कार्यक्रम संयोजक यूकॉस्ट वैज्ञानिक डॉ भवतोष शर्मा ने कार्यक्रम की रूपरेखा प्रस्तुत की एवं विषय विशेषज्ञ डॉ सोबन सिंह रावत, वरिष्ठ वैज्ञानिक, राष्ट्रीय जल विज्ञान संस्थान रुड़की का परिचय कराया।

राष्ट्रीय जल विज्ञान संस्थान रूरकी के वरिष्ठ वैज्ञानिक डॉ सोबन सिंह रावत ने "वाटर रिसोर्सेज ऑफ़ उत्तराखंड: "प्रेजेंट स्टेटस, इमर्जिंग चैलेंजेज एंड सस्टेनेबल साल्यूशंस" विषय पर विशेषज्ञ व्याख्यान दिया। उन्होंने अपने व्याख्यान में भारतीय हिमालयी क्षेत्र से निकलने वाली नदियों की प्राचीन काल से लेकर वर्तमान तक की स्थिति, जल से संबंधित समस्याओं, उसके निराकरण पर प्रकाश डालते हुए विस्तार से बताया। उन्होंने उत्तराखंड राज्य के स्प्रिंगस की स्थिति तथा उत्तराखंड राज्य के साथ-साथ संपूर्ण भारतीय क्षेत्र की भविष्य की जल जरूरतों, जल उपलब्धता पर विस्तार से बताते हुऎ मिलकर कार्य करने पर बल दिया। उन्होंने राष्ट्रीय जल विज्ञान संस्थान द्वारा स्प्रिंगस के रिजुविनेशन की दिशा में किए जा रहे विभिन्न वैज्ञानिक कार्यों, रिमोट सेंसिंग एवं जीआईएस के वैज्ञानिक अनुप्रयोग, वर्षा की वास्तविक स्थित समझने के लिए सैटेलाइट के व्यापक प्रयोग के बारे में बताया।

कार्यक्रम में उत्तराखंड के पर्वतीय भूभाग के विभिन्न विद्यालयों में विद्यार्थियों द्वारा सामूहिक रूप से प्रोजेक्टर के माध्यम से प्रतिभाग किया गया। कार्यक्रम में साइंस सिटी देहरादून के सलाहकार डॉ. जी. एस. रौतेला, यूकॉस्ट के वैज्ञानिक डॉ ओम प्रकाश नौटियाल, डॉ मंजू सुंदरियाल, वैज्ञानिक अधिकारी डॉ मनमोहन सिंह रावत, ऐमेरिटस वैज्ञानिक डॉ पीयूष गोयल, श्री अमित पोखरियाल, परियोजना अधिकारी श्री नरेश चंद्र गौर, रामदेव घुनियाल, विकास नौटियाल, ओम जोशी, उमेश जोशी, राजदीप जंग, अर्चित पांडे, मानसखंड साइंस सेंटर अल्मोड़ा के वैज्ञानिक, उत्तराखंड राज्य के विभिन्न शिक्षण संस्थाओं, विश्वविद्यालयों, महाविद्यालयों के स्नातक स्नातकोत्तर छात्र-छात्राएं, शोधार्थी एवं राज्य के विभिन्न जनपदों पिथौरागढ़, चंपावत, बागेश्वर, अल्मोड़ा, पौड़ी, ऊधम सिंह नगर, हरिद्वार, चमोली एवं देहरादून जिलों से यूकॉस्ट के 'पर्यावरण एवं विज्ञान चेतना केंद्र' के शिक्षक एवं विद्यार्थियों, यूकॉस्ट स्टेम प्रयोगशालाओं से विद्यार्थी एवं शिक्षक, पीएमयू की राज्य में स्थित 26 प्रयोगशालाओं के कार्मिक, सहित 300 अधिक लोगों ने सामूहिक एवं व्यक्तिगत रूप से ऑफलाइन व ऑनलाइन माध्यम से कार्यक्रम में प्रतिभाग किया। कार्यक्रम का संचालन यूकॉस्ट वैज्ञानिक डॉ भवतोष शर्मा ने किया तथा धन्यवाद ज्ञापन वैज्ञानिक अधिकारी डॉ मनमोहन सिंह रावत ने किया।

10th Foundation Day of Regional Science Centre, Dehradun Celebrated
The 10th Foundation Day of the Regional Science Centre (RSC), Dehradun was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 3rd February 2026 at the RSC campus, Dehradun. The programme marked a significant milestone in the journey of the Regional Science Centre towards promoting science education and scientific temperament among students and the general public. The program begins with the welcome by center in-charge Dr. Piyush Joshi, he presented the progress of the center in last year and decade in a nut shell. He also updates audience with the new innovation and activities of the center. On this occasion Prof. Durgesh Pant, Director General, UCOST, congratulated the officials and staff of UCOST and RSC, Dehradun for their dedicated efforts and contributions in the successful journey of the Centre over the past ten years. Prof. Pant said that Uttarakhand will have its own Science City in the coming years. He also highlighted the science education initiatives of UCOST, including establishment of science centers in various districts, scientific workshops, skill development trainings, STEM education programmes, Vigyaan Radio and several other outreach activities. During the programme, the Annual Calendar, Diary, Brochures and Annual Report of RSC, Dehradun were formally inaugurated. Dr. Piyush Goel, Emeritus Scientist, UCOST, delivered al talk on emerging scientific and technological advancements and new research areas in science and technology. Dr. D. P. Uniyal, Joint Director, UCOST, presented a lecture on the Biodiversity of the Himalayan Region, emphasizing its ecological significance and conservation challenges. Shri G. S. Rautela, Advisor, Science City, delivered a talk on the Pillars of Education, focusing on career opportunities and pathways to professional success. He also conducted live science demonstrations on various scientific principles, making the session highly interactive and engaging for students. Shri Vinod Ojha, Emeritus Scientist, UCOST, delivered a talk on “Identifying One’s Personality for Career Selection through the Indian Knowledge System”, offering valuable insights to students. During the program, students interacted with scientists from UCOST, discussing their academic challenges and queries. Today RSC, Dehradun also organized an open day for visitors, encouraging public participation. More than 200 students from Dolphin PG College, Hill Grove School Jhajra and Swaraswati Vidhya Mandir, Manduwala actively participated in the event. Scientists, staff of RSC, from UCOST and experts from various organizations participated in the program. The programme was coordinated by Dr. Piyush Joshi, In-charge, Regional Science Centre, Dehradun, who delivers the vote of thanks to all the participants present during the program.

उत्तराखंड राज्य विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी परिषद (यूकॉस्ट) द्वारा संचालित "मां धरा नमन एवं जल शिक्षा कार्यक्रम" के अंतर्गत आज 30 दिसंबर 2025 को "माइक्रोप्लास्टिक्स इन हिमालयन रिवराइन सिस्टम: कन्टामिनेंट्स का इमर्जिंग कंसर्न" विषय पर एक विशेषज्ञ व्याख्यान का आयोजन परिषद के सभागार में किया गया।

कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता करते हुए यूकॉस्ट के महानिदेशक प्रो. दुर्गेश पंत ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि यूकॉस्ट द्वारा जल स्रोतों के महत्व को देखते हुए राज्य के 100 जल स्रोतों, जलधारों आदि के वैज्ञानिक अध्ययन, संरक्षण आदि की दिशा में कार्य प्रारंभ किया गया है । उन्होंने हिमालय से निकलने वाली नदियों को मानव जीवन के साथ-साथ जैव विविधता के अस्तित्व के लिए बहुत आवश्यक बताया।
इस अवसर पर यूकॉस्ट के संयुक्त निदेशक डॉ डी.पी. उनियाल ने यूकॉस्ट द्वारा राज्य भर में चलाए जा रहे विभिन्न वैज्ञानिक कार्यक्रमों व परियोजनाओं पर प्रकाश डाला ।

प्रो. सुरेंद्र सिंह सूथर, विभागाध्यक्ष एवं डीन ,पर्यावरण विज्ञान विभाग दून विश्वविद्यालय देहरादून, ने “माइक्रोप्लास्टिक्स इन हिमालयन रिवराइन सिस्टम: कंटामिनेंट्स का इमर्जिंग कंसर्न” विषय पर विशेषज्ञ व्याख्यान दिया। उन्होंने हिमालयी नदी जल तंत्र में माइक्रोप्लास्टिक की उपस्थिति, जल नमूना संग्रहण एवं वैज्ञानिक विश्लेषण विधियों पर प्रकाश डाला।
उन्होंने बताया कि सिंथेटिक टैक्सटाइल्स, प्लास्टिक बोतलों का अपघटन, शहरी धूल, टायर, सड़क निर्माण एवं पर्सनल केयर प्रोडक्ट्स जैसे स्रोतों से माइक्रोप्लास्टिक हिमालयी जल स्रोतों में पहुँच रहा है। साथ ही विभिन्न हिमालयी नदियों एवं ग्लेशियर जल में माइक्रोप्लास्टिक की मौजूदगी, प्लास्टिक रीसाइक्लिंग तथा रीसाइकिल्ड प्लास्टिक पैकेजिंग के वैल्यू एडिशन पर किए जा रहे शोध कार्यों की जानकारी दी।
व्याख्यान में रमन स्पेक्ट्रोस्कॉपी, एफ.टी.आई.आर. जैसी वैज्ञानिक विश्लेषण तकनीकों पर भी चर्चा की गई तथा सामाजिक सहभागिता के माध्यम से प्लास्टिक प्रदूषण कम करने के प्रति जागरूक किया गया।

कार्यक्रम में उत्तराखंड राज्य के विभिन्न शिक्षण संस्थाओं, विश्वविद्यालयों, महाविद्यालयों के स्नातक स्नातकोत्तर छात्र-छात्राएं, शोधार्थी एवं राज्य के विभिन्न जनपदों पिथौरागढ़, चंपावत, बागेश्वर, अल्मोड़ा, पौड़ी, ऊधम सिंह नगर, हरिद्वार, चमोली एवं देहरादून जिलों से यूकॉस्ट के 'पर्यावरण एवं विज्ञान चेतना केंद्र' के शिक्षक एवं विद्यार्थियों सहित 170 से अधिक लोगों ने सामूहिक एवं व्यक्तिगत रूप से ऑफलाइन व ऑनलाइन माध्यम से कार्यक्रम में प्रतिभाग किया।

कार्यक्रम का संचालन यूकॉस्ट वैज्ञानिक डॉ भवतोष शर्मा ने किया तथा धन्यवाद ज्ञापन वैज्ञानिक अधिकारी डॉ मनमोहन सिंह रावत ने किया।

उत्तराखंड राज्य में विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी को प्रोत्साहित करने हेतु उत्तराखंड राज्य विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी परिषद (यूकॉस्ट) द्वारा अब तक समस्त जनपदों में 95 स्टेम लैब स्थापित की जा चुकी हैं। इसी क्रम में टिहरी एवं हरिद्वार जनपदों के STEM लैब से जुड़े गणित एवं विज्ञान शिक्षकों हेतु एक दिवसीय शिक्षक प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम का आयोजन दिनांक 20 दिसंबर 2025 को यूकॉस्ट के आंचलिक विज्ञान केंद्र परिसर, देहरादून में किया गया। 18 दिसंबर 2025 को इसी तरह का शिक्षक प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम जिला उधम सिंह नगर के अटल उत्कृष्ट राजकीय बालिका इंटर कॉलेज , किच्छा में भी आयोजित किया गया ।

कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता यूकॉस्ट के महानिदेशक श्री दुर्गेश पंत द्वारा की गई। अपने संबोधन में उन्होंने कहा कि “स्टेम आधारित शिक्षा वर्तमान समय की आवश्यकता है, जो विद्यार्थियों में नवाचार, समस्या समाधान तथा तकनीकी दक्षता को विकसित करती है।”

प्रशिक्षण सत्र मेसर्स श्रिजी टेक्नो एस्पायर द्वारा प्रशिक्षित मेंटर्स के माध्यम से संचालित किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम में टिहरी एवं हरिद्वार जनपदों से आए कुल 26 गणित एवं विज्ञान शिक्षकों को STEM आधारित किट्स जैसे रोबोटिक्स, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स, ड्रोन, एआई तथा NCERT आधारित किट्स के संचालन एवं उपयोग का प्रशिक्षण प्रदान किया गया। साथ ही, आगामी एक वर्ष में उनके विद्यालयों में STEM लैब के माध्यम से आयोजित होने वाली STEM गतिविधियों एवं कार्ययोजना की जानकारी दी गई, ताकि विद्यालय स्तर पर विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी शिक्षा को अधिक प्रभावी एवं प्रयोगात्मक बनाया जा सके।
