President Droupadi Murmu presented the President’s Colour to Armed Forces Medical College at Pune on its platinum jubilee year.

While acknowledging the imperative of promoting the LCA Tejas program, it is disconcerting that the Honorable Prime Minister refrained from visiting the family of Captain Pranjal, especially given his proximity during the same city visitation.

Capt Pranjal’s, by all accounts, warranted the highest level of respect from our esteemed leader. This observed omission in recognition magnifies the collective disappointment in the response from our political leaders to the sacrifices made by our valiant troops, casting a shadow of dismay across the populace.

This infact seems to be the norm, witnessing and observing from what UP Minister Yogendra Upadhyay did to Capt Shubham’s grieving parents, the sacrifice of our young soldiers who lay down their lives in service is profound, yet the indifference displayed by our political leaders towards these sacrifices is deeply disheartening.

Major Raghu slipped from a cliff in the Sukhdar area of Uri when he was leading a patrolling party along the Line of Control.
