Fund Update: JULIE Needs Us 🐾

Thank you to everyone who has stood by JULIE in this difficult time. 💔 After the accident, she has been so brave through treatments, but the medical bills are still piling up. Every small contribution is helping us cover surgery costs ,medicines, follow-up care.

✨ Your support means the difference between pain and recovery for JULIE.

We’ve raised ₹7050 so far, but still need ₹ 32950 to ensure she gets fully recovered and lead a normal life again.

I got a call from my helper while feeding n the morning that Julie is not moving and something has happened to her..

I went to check on her and after enquiring got to know that Julie had met with an accident yesterday..some car had hit her so hard at night that he broke her arm 😔

Without wasting time I immediately called for an ambulance and sent her to Dr. Manu Mishra in GK1.

Xray was taken and there are three fractures on her hand(clearly seen in the picture).

A plaster was put for the time being but ultimately a surgery needs to be performed to fix her hand..

Doctor gave me two options either we amputate her hand or we fix it with a surgery which will take about 2-3 months for full recovery..

In my wildest of dreams I can’t go ahead with amputation so took the decision to surgically fix her hand..

The surgery is complicated and major one which requires plating and pinning too..fixing two fractures with the joint..

Unfortunately her Platelets are only 48k against normal of 200K and TLC is also high..

we first need to get the platelets at normal range post that surgery will be performed..

I am currently running a lot of expenses due to medical emergencies of few dogs which were never posted but Julie’s expenses would be much higher than of other running medical cases..

The estimated funds required for the complete operation and post surgery recovery would be approximately Rs. 40,000 which might also increase..

I need help to make Julie’s recovery journey possible..

On August 22, 2025, the Supreme Court revised its earlier directive—now, sterilized and immunized stray dogs in Delhi-NCR must be released back to their original localities, unless they display aggression or test positive for rabies

This humane, balanced order also mandates designated feeding zones, bans indiscriminate street feeding, and paves the way for a national, science-based stray dog policy

Let’s celebrate this step forward, while staying vigilant — advocating for implementation, raising awareness, and safeguarding the voiceless. 🐶🌱

New medical case

Bruno our boy from Nehru Place had met with an accident yesterday..I picked him up today for a check as the foot has swollen and Bruno was limping..

An xray was Conducted and it’s a fracture 😔

He is required to get bandage changed daily for at least a week but due the rainy season leaving Bruno outside was not advised by the doctor..the moisture in the bandage will make the wound worsened..

We had to admit him at the clinic where three days injection will be given for reducing swelling and pain..

We are raising 8000 to cover the medical bills for Bruno.

Medical emergency ‼️

Raani met with an accident..she was rushed to hospital by a kind girl who is also a doglover in Saket and had my number…she immediately called me and I requested her if she can drop raani to gk1 at Dr Manu Mishra’s clinic..

This was an emergency situation and we couldn’t wait for an ambulance to arrive..

Raani is fighting for life..she was badly hit by some vehicle which caused severe bleeding from eyes, nose and mouth..swelling on shoulder..looks like injury on shoulder and chest…

Please pray that she pulls through 🙏🙏

Vaccinations ✔️

Successfully vaccinated 12 dogs in Saket today..

Annual vaccination are very important for our community dogs..

I make sure that all kids under my care are vaccinated and dewormed ❤️❤️

New medical case 😔

Max has been picked up today in emergency 🚨

He has been found with big maggots wound that made a deep deep hole on his back..

We picked him up today in a very bad state 😔

The maggots were alive and eating the skin which made it worst 💔

He has been admitted at Dr paw veterinary clinic.

The rainy season is very bad as a little wound get maggots quickly and within a day or two it becomes bigger.

Please pray for max for his speedy recovery 🙏

Annual vaccinations 💉🐶🐶

Few dogs in Nehru Place were vaccinated with 9 in 1 and anti Rabies..

Rest were covered by last month.

Panchsheel park kids were vaccinated in April.

We will be starting the vaccination round in Saket too.

Annual vaccinations and quarterly deworming is very very important..if you are taking care of any street dogs make sure they are vaccinated once a year without fail and dewormed ideally quarterly but if not at least once in six month.
