Ms. Alka Upadhyaya, Secretary, NCM releases Study Report on “Contribution of Jain Community in the Field of Education” at New Delhi office. The study highlights the Jain community’s enduring contribution to education, research, scholarships, value-based learning and nation-building.

Over the past five years, the Commission has maintained a strong record of grievance redressal, reflecting its commitment to timely intervention and resolution. Between 2021–22 and 2025–26, a total of 9,558 petitions were received, out of which 9,230 complaints were disposed of, demonstrating a consistently high disposal rate.

The Commission has also addressed community-specific concerns effectively ensuring transparency in food disclosure in Uttarakhand, and enabling inclusion of Jain Shwetambers in minority certification processes.
