आज बदरपुर ज़िले(कालका जी विभाग) के अंतर्गत बिलासपुर कैंप बस्ती में जाकर महिलाओं को कार्यकर्ताओं द्वारा सैनिटेरी नैपकिन का वितरण किया गया और साथ ही महिला संबंधित समस्याओं को लेकर जागरूक किया गया ताकि कैन्सर जैसी बीमारी से बचाव हो सके।

आज अखिल भारतीय विद्यार्थी परिषद, पश्चिम विभाग के अंतर्गत आने वाले द्वारका जिले के कार्यकर्ताओं द्वारा ऋतुमती अभियान के निमित्त घर-घर जाकर जरूरतमंद माताओं व बहनों को सेनेटरी पैड वितरण किया गया।

आज अभाविप दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय इकाई द्वारा संचालित बस्ती में कोरोना से बचाव के लिए जागरूकता फैलाई गई और मास्क वितरित किया गया I साथ ही ऋतुमति अभियान के अन्तर सेनिटरी पैड का वितरण किया गया एवं युवा पखवाड़े के अंतर्गत स्वामी विवेकानंद जी के विचारों को साँझा की गई।

Ritumati Delhi State Workshop was duly inaugurated by Ayurveda Dr. Veena Sharma ji, ABVP National Vice President and Associate Professor (Bhaskaracharya College) Manu Kataria ji, DUSU President Aksh*t Dahiya ji and ABVP Delhi State Girl's Coordinator Valentina ji by lighting the lamp.

"Ritumati" is an initiative of Menstrual hygiene awareness drive and it is Started by Chatra Kalyan Niyas Trust and focuses on self empowerment of the Women residing in the slum areas.

⭕ *WHAT?*
✨Ritumati is an initiative which aims at creating awareness towards menstrual hygiene and other health issues related to menstruation with its Sanitary Napkin distribution drive.

✨In further stages we plan to expand the horizon by taking the initiative to another level by focusing on the economic and social empowerment of women by imparting skills to make eco-friendly pads, sessions on safe disposal techniques, organizing health camps, sessions with gynecologist and so on.

⭕ *WHY* *RITUMATI ?*
✨Studies indicate that 71% of adolescent girls remain unaware of menstruation until their first menstrual cycle. Hence do not prioritize health during this time.

⭕ *PLANS :*
✨The project RITUMATI, with its CAMPUS TO COMMUNITY will approach around 10 lakh students all over India to be trained under this campaign about menstrual hygiene management and these students will be sent in groups to tribal areas, slum areas and rural areas for a mass awareness campaign among women and young girls to attain major objectives set out for project Ritumati.

✨Focusing on *Delhi NCR regions, the current areas identified for the projects are slum areas.*
