Kiwi fruits were first grown in Chile in the 1980s. Today, Chile is one of the world’s leading producers of kiwifruit, available from March to November.
It is one of the most nutrient dense fruit available, due to a combination of vitamin C, Vitamin E, dietary fiber, actinidin, potassium and folate. All of these nutrients are essential for our health and the optimal functioning of our bodies. Kiwifruit are delicious to eat in fruit salads, smoothies and as a snack.
