With it’s more than 5000 volunteers across more than 100 cities & 23 states National Human Rights and Public Accountability Bureau is a strong proponent of India’s Protection of Human Rights Act, 1993 that was enacted by the Parliament in the 44th year of the Republic of India in conformity with the Paris Principles, adopted at the first international workshop on national institutions for the promotion and protection of human rights held in Paris in October 1991, and endorsed by the General Assembly of the United Nations.
