Today, we highlight the significant role of the cooperative sector in India and its growth trajectory. One in every five Indians is associated with this sector.

Whether in areas such as sugar, fertilizers, fisheries, or dairy production, the contribution of cooperatives is immense. India has also witnessed the vast expansion of cooperative banking and housing societies, with nearly 2 lakh housing cooperative societies.
