The Embassy of the Republic of South Sudan in New Delhi is honored to announce the arrival of H.E. Dr. James Wani Igga, Vice President of the Republic of South Sudan.

His Excellency was warmly received at the airport by the Embassy’s diplomatic core and representatives of the host nation.

On February 10th, 2026, the diplomats from Embassy of the Republic of South Sudan visited Yashoda Medicity. 

The visit, led by H.E. Kulong Manytuil (Chargé d'Affaires), Hon. Michael Saki Longwa (Minister Plenipotentiary), and Mr. Martin Mande (Counsellor), focused on enhancing medical cooperation and ensuring world-class care for South Sudanese patients in India.
Discussions centered on bringing advanced clinical expertise and compassionate care to the people of South Sudan, further solidifying the bond between our two nations.

Today, the newly appointed Ambassador of India to the Republic of South Sudan, H.E. Deepak Miglani, paid a courtesy visit to the Embassy of the Republic of South Sudan.

Ambassador Miglani held a productive bilateral meeting with Ambassador Kulong Manytuil Wijang Wour (Chargé d'Affaires) and Mr. Michael Saki Longwa (Minister Plenipotentiary).

The leaders discussed:
• Strengthening the bilateral relationship between India and South Sudan.
• Exploring new avenues for mutual cooperation.
• Key regional and international topics of shared interest.

On 18.09.2025, Ambassador Kulong Manytuil Wijang Wour, Deputy Head of Mission (Charge' de' affaires), took part in a ceremonial plantation event organised under the visionary initiative 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 2.0', which means 'One Tree in the name of Mother', a movement aimed at inspiring individuals to plant trees as a mark of respect for their mothers and Mother Earth.

The Embassy of the Republic of South Sudan expresses its deep appreciation to the Republic of India for supporting the Republic of South Sudan in the areas of diplomacy, education, healths, trades and investment, and many others.

A courtesy visit was paid by the Indian Economic Trade Organization delegation to H.E. Ambassador Lumumba Maklele Nyajok, Head of Mission, to strengthen business connections with the Republic of South Sudan.

On August 28, 2024, H.E. Ambassador Lumumba Maklele Nyajok, Head of Mission, attended the 'AHOMs Farewell and Welcome Dinner', hosted by H.E. Ermindo Augusto Ferreira, Dean of the African Heads of Mission and High Commissioner of Mozambique in India.

Embassy of the Republic of South Sudan received an award at the Indian Economic Trade Organization’s (IETO) Business Impact Awards 2024 for cooperation to the economic ties between South Sudan and India.

His Excellency Ambassador Lumumba Maklele Nyajok, Head of Mission of the Embassy attended the event. He agreed to collaborate on promoting South Sudanese business and investment opportunities.

Today, H.E. Ambassador Lumumba Makele Nyajok presented his credentials to Hon. President of India, H.E. Smt. Droupadi Murmu.
