ICAR–NRIIPM, New Delhi, hosted a vibrant outreach programme on Oct 11, 2025, celebrating the launch of the Pradhan Mantri Dhan-Dhaanya Krishi Yojana (PMDDKY). With 150 farmers from UP and Haryana in attendance, the event spotlighted sustainable farming, bio-pesticides, and innovative pest management tools like drones and the NPSS App. Experts addressed key pest challenges in crops like sugarcane, rice, vegetables, and mustard, while farmers voiced concerns about IPM adoption. The programme featured live demos, tech showcases, and distribution of biocontrol consortia worth ₹1 lakh—marking a powerful step toward eco-friendly agriculture!

‘प्रधानमंत्री धन-धान्य कृषि योजना’ एवं ‘दलहन आत्मनिर्भरता मिशन’ का शुभारंभ 11 अक्टूबर 2025

ICAR-National Research institute for Integrated Pest Management NRIIPM, New Delhi is organizing a live streaming and one-day Training-cum-Awareness Programme for farmers on 11th October, 2025, coinciding with the launch of the "PM Dhan Dhaanya Krishi Yojana, National Mission on Pulses and other major schemes" by the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India.

The programme, to be held at, ICAR-NRIIPM New Delhi will witness the participation of about 200 farmers and stakeholders from various sectors of agriculture. The Inaugural Function is scheduled at 10:30 a.m.
This initiative aims to create awareness about newly launched schemes, promote sustainable agriculture, and empower farmers through expert interactions. Council of Agricultural Research

Rice IPM Farmers Field School & BIPM Demonstration Visit

A Rice Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Farmers Field School was successfully organized on 07 October 2025, along with a visit to the Bio-Intensive Pest Management (BIPM) demonstration field at Bambawar, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh by Dr. Anoop Tiwari, Senior Scientist and Dr. Mukesh Kumar Khokhar, Scientist, ICAR-NRIIPM, New Delhi.
