🇸🇮 Ambassador Tomaž Mencin officially presented his credentials in Nepal on April 20, 2026, to President Ramchandra Paudel, marking an important step in strengthening bilateral relations. During his visit, he also held productive meetings with the🇳🇵Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Shishir Khanal; Health and Population, Nisha Mehta; and Women, Children and Elderly, Sita Badi. Discussions focused on the current state of cooperation, engagement with the EU and Slovenia, as well as the priorities and plans of the new Nepalese government.

India–EU FTA Networking Reception: Catalysing Technology Transfer and Investment Partnerships

A truly pleasant evening in excellent and inspiring company, co-organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in New Delhi, Bharatia, the Bar Association of India, and ALPS University.

The reception brought together a diverse and dynamic group of participants and created valuable space for new connections, fresh exchanges, and promising conversations on future cooperation. We hope that the ideas and examples of good practice shared during the evening will grow into concrete partnerships and successful projects in the period ahead.

✨️ Slovenia Engagement Visit in Hyderabad, 17–18 March 🇸🇮🇮🇳 ✨️

Two highly productive days in Hyderabad, filled with meaningful exchanges and new connections.

We brought together partners at a business conference to explore how Slovenia and Telangana can complement each other and unlock new opportunities for economic cooperation. The discussions highlighted strong potential across several sectors and a shared ambition to deepen ties.

We also had the pleasure of visiting Birla Open Minds International School, where we were encouraged by their strong interest in future collaboration, particularly through student and teacher exchanges.

Another highlight of the visit was the meeting with Mr Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Telangana’s Minister for IT, Electronics & Communications, Industries & Commerce, and Legislative Affairs. Our discussions focused on ongoing initiatives and promising opportunities for Slovenian companies in the region.
