On Sunday, 15th June 2025, the Foundational Literacy and Numeracy Assessment Test (FLNAT) was successfully conducted across the Tamil Nadu State for the first batch of learners of FY 2025-26 under ULLAS-Nav Bharat Saaksharta Karyakaram.

✅ Over 5.38 lakh learners have been registered this year through a comprehensive door-to-door identification survey.

✅ 30,191 Literacy Centres have been set up in government and government-aided schools across all 38 districts.

✅ 30,191 dedicated volunteers are leading the teaching-learning process at the grassroots level.

With 15.18 lakh learners already attaining Foundational Literacy and Numeracy from 2022-2025, Tamil Nadu is steadily progressing towards achieving Full literacy under the ULLAS-Nav Bharat Saaksharta Karyakaram(New India Literacy Programme).

Today, Mizoram is set to be officially declared a fully literate state under ULLAS - Nav Bharat Saaksharta Karyakram - the first in India to achieve this remarkable feat.

Hon’ble Minister of State for Education and Minister of State (IC) for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Shri Jayant Singh, will grace the event in which Hon’ble Chief Minister of Mizoram, Shri Pu Lalduhoma, will make the declaration in Aizawl, joined by other eminent dignitaries.

On 23rd March 2025, more than 50 lakh learners across the nation will appear for the Foundational Literacy and Numeracy Assessment Test (FLNAT) under - Nav Bharat Saaksharta Karyakram.
With full enthusiasm, States/UTs are ensuring smooth and impactful assessments, leaving no stone unturned to make this a milestone event in India's journey towards .

From sending invitation cards to learners to arranging snacks for beneficiaries, innovative methods are being employed to welcome non-literates and encourage participation. Newspapers nationwide highlight the momentum building up for this significant assessment.

Together, we are stepping closer to a fully literate Bharat!

FLNAT Odisha Results Announced!

The Foundational Literacy and Numeracy Assessment Test (FLNAT) under ULLAS - Nav Bharat Saaksharta Karyakram has seen a remarkable 1,17,761 learners successfully passing! This is a significant step towards a Fully Literate Bharat.

On 2nd February 2025, the Foundational Literacy and Numeracy Assessment Test (FLNAT) was successfully conducted in Jammu & Kashmir, with approximately 1,20,000 learners actively participating.

Under ULLAS - Nav Bharat Saaksharta Karyakram, Meghalaya successfully conducted the Foundational Literacy & Numeracy Assessment Test (FLNAT) on 31st Jan 2025!

All 12 districts participated, and around 72,000 learners appeared for the assessment, making it a remarkable step forward in the journey towards Jan Jan Saakshar Bharat!
