Replacing the controversial TAM, Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) has rolled out first set of viewership data but it is still incomplete due to total black out of rural viewers which comprise majority in case of terrestrial broadcast by DD Channels. Thus, the data released by BARC is not showing true picture of viewership of DD programmes
