MEZZOTONO | Giants of Music 2026
Mezzotono, often described as “Ambassadors of Italian Music Around the World” and celebrated as a symbol of “Italian Excellence,” is the vocal group that has performed in more countries than any other vocal ensemble in the world, touring over 70 nations across five continents — and now performing in India for the very first time.
Their performances are a vibrant blend of Italian culture, humor, and a ca****la music, often enriched by educational workshops in schools and institutions of every level.
Using only their voices, five singers create an extraordinary sonic universe. With irony, theatricality, vocal percussion, and astonishing vocal imitation of musical instruments, Mezzotono reinterprets Italian and international music across every genre — from jazz to pop, classical to folk traditions. Their repertoire ranges from Buonasera Signorina to music by Ennio Morricone, from songs by Sergio Endrigo to compositions by Johann Sebastian Bach, from traditional Tarantella rhythms to contemporary vocal experimentation. The result is a performance that feels like a full orchestra on stage.
Among their most prestigious appearances are the Dubai Jazz Festival, Cairo Opera House, London Jazz Festival, and the Boston GreenFest, alongside tours throughout China, Japan, Korea, several Arab countries, Argentina, and festivals across 12 African nations.
Their many awards include a CARA nomination — often referred to as the “Oscars” of vocal music — the Akademia Music Awards, and participation in a Gold-certified album in Italy.
