What began as a passion project has steadily evolved into a purpose-driven journey, guided by vision and belief.

As we step into our 10th year of serving in NCR, away from Kolkata, our commitment remains stronger than ever to build awareness and appreciation for Kolkata Biryani beyond its home. We look forward to your continued support as we take this journey forward.

As we stand in the eve of India’s 78th Independence Day, it is unfortunate that there’s a clarion call to
happening in Kolkata.

At the backdrop of one of the most heinous crimes happened recently at Kolkata’s prominent RG Kar Medical College,
is not a hashtag, it is not any other movement by the mortals, but it extends to everyone–
from beings to brands. It does appeal to us as well.

Questions may be asked, Why does it appeal to us? Is it just another marketing hack? We have an answer for you.

Our red circular logo symbolizes a ‘red bindi’ that personifies a woman. A mark of wearing honor, love and prosperity.

While we have always stayed behind the scenes, we feel it is time to come out in public and voice our solidarity to
.

As a mark of respect and unity, we flip our logo till Rakhi (Aug 19) to that ‘red bindi’ only–
with no mention of the brand. Because, today, it’s not about the brand, but it’s about the common cause and meaning and what
we all stand for together.

If you’ve ever loved and liked us, enjoyed our food, do support the cause. It’ll make a difference.

Let’s all do that together.

Last week we had the opportunity to serve our signature to a global delegation from Taiwan during the Taiwan Expo 2024 in Delhi.

Logo unveil of our newly launched condominium initiative - THE CABIN (by PETPURAAN)

THE CABIN, as the name suggests, is an inspiration from Kolkata’s famous ‘cabins’ that serve quick bytes, snacks to spice up the ‘adda’ - irrespective of the time of the day. Basanta Cabin, Anadi Cabin, Dilkhusha Cabin, Favourite Cabin are some of city’s prominent ones.

With the intent to popularise Kolkata’s very own adda snacks, THE CABIN will operate at various condominiums, societies serving diverse snacks like Kolkata rolls, chicken stew, dim-pauruti, egg devils, ghughni to name a few. The initiative serves specifically to the residents and their guests.

With a soft launch on the auspicious day of Shri Jagannath Rath Yatra (July 7), we have began operations in Gurgaon.
