Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah will chair the National Mega Conclave to discuss PACS transforming into Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Kendras on 8 January 2024.

Over 4400 applications have been received from pacs to open Jan aushadhi Kendra and more than 2300 and cooperative societies got initial approval.

This initiative empowers rural areas with affordable generic medicines and boosting economic growth.
