Singhvi further criticized the trial court's decision to allow the CBI's application for production warrants despite Kejriwal being interrogated for nearly three hours on June 25. The person might not wake up. Please take a holistic view, a common sensical view. Three orders are already in my favour."

Singh also defended the CBI's actions, noting, "No observation till date, that CBI has been overzealous or has done something that violated any statute. Till date, there is no Act that the CBI has done, which can be called overreaching. He is a public servant. Prevention of Corruption Act requires permission to investigate under section 17. To say that in January I had the statement of Magunta Reddy, in April I got the sanction... There is a mechanism at the CBI."
