Today, on 28.03.2022, Hon’ble Union Minister of Social Justice & Empowerment, Dr Virendra Kumar, in the august presence of Hon’ble Union Minister of State of Social Justice & Empowerment Ms Pratima Bhoumik and CCPD & Secretary Department of Empowerment for Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan) Ms Anjali Bhawra, inaugurated the new office of CCPD at NISD Building, Sector 10, Dwarka, New Delhi-110075

Sorry to inform that Shri PK Pincha, former Chief Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities breathed his last in the early hours of this morning in Max Super Speciality Hospital Saket, New Delhi

Joint Mobile Court of Chief Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), Govt. of India and State Commissioner for Person with Disabilities, Govt. of Gujarat organized at Bahruch district, Gujarat on 07th January, 2019.

During the Mobile Court Dr. Kamlesh Kumar Pandey, Chief Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan) interacted with Media persons, persons with disabilities (Divyangjan) came from Bahruch, Narmada and Chhotaudepur districts and representatives of various NGOs working in disability sector in the District. He also distributed Tri-cycles and other aid & appliances to Divyangjan.

Dr. Kamlesh Kumar Pandey, Chief Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan) took a Review Meeting at Kavaratti, Lakshadweep on 25 & 26 September, 2018 on the Implementation of PwD Act, 1995 & RPwD Act, 2016 by the UT of Lakshadweep. Meeting attended by State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan) and other senior officers from various department of UT of Lakshadweep.

CCPD also interacted with representatives of various NGOs, Zila Panchayat & Civil Society Organizations working in Disability Sector.

291 Grievances of persons with disabilities (Divyangjan) on various issued were heard and disposed off during the Mobile Court.
