A significant step towards strengthening India’s rail manufacturing ecosystem.

The Kazipet Rail Manufacturing Unit, constructed by RVNL for Indian Railways, is nearing completion and is set to manufacture 200 modern intercity trains over the next five years, further enhancing regional connectivity through modern and sustainable mobility.

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw recently reviewed the plans for operationalising the Kazipet Rail Manufacturing Unit.

Sh. Saleem Ahmad, CMD RVNL met Capt. Binesh Kumar Tyagi, CMD Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) recently at RVNL’s Corporate Office in New Delhi, to discuss opportunities for future collaboration and strategic partnerships in the infrastructure sector.

The agenda of the meeting was to explore new avenues for joint participation in upcoming infrastructure projects and leveraging the expertise of both organisations to contribute to India's growth story and development objectives.

Sh. Ashutosh Gautam, Executive Director- Civil/Highways, RVNL and Sh. BS Jaryal, Executive Director (Business Development), RVNL were also present.
