🪺 Have you heard about Luxembourg's unique Easter Monday tradition?

People gather for the traditional Eemaischen, a spring market where small clay whistles shaped like a bird, the "Péckvillchen" are sold.

Originally, potters from the villages of Nospelt made the colourful whistles from leftover clay. Over time, they became the defining symbol of the Eemaischen.

Did you know that West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Rajasthan also have handmade bird whistles?
