World Hypertension Day is observed on 17 May, every year .
From today, let's make a commitment to a healthy lifestyle and take control of our heart's health.
Hypertension is a condition in which an excessive long-term force of blood applied to the walls of the artery leads to heart disease. Prolonged hypertension is also called high blood pressure. It is caused because of high-stress levels, obesity, sedentary lifestyle, poor dietary habits, etc.
There is evidence that hypertension can be managed and prevented by donating blood.

Let's spread awareness and encourage those around us to monitor their blood pressure regularly. Together, we can beat hypertension!
