Chief National Commissioner Interacts with State Project Manager Trainees under Yuva Aapda Mitra Scheme
During the ongoing State Project Manager (SPM) Training Programme under the Yuva Aapda Mitra Scheme (YAMS) at the National Headquarters of The Bharat Scouts and Guides, New Delhi, the Chief National Commissioner, Dr. K. K. Khandelwal, interacted with the trainees on 1st June, 2026 and shared his valuable guidance and insights.
Addressing the participants, Dr. Khandelwal emphasized the core principles, values, and Vision of The Bharat Scouts and Guides. He highlighted the vital role of youth in the vision of a Viksit Bharat (Developed India) and reiterated the responsibility of the organization in shaping responsible citizens, community leaders, and change-makers committed to national development.
He encouraged the trainees to uphold the ideals of Scouting and Guiding in their professional and personal lives and to serve society with dedication, discipline, and a spirit of selfless service. Discussions were also held on the objectives and potential impact of the Yuva Aapda Mitra Scheme, particularly in strengthening disaster preparedness, community resilience, and youth-led volunteerism across the country.
The interaction provided an excellent opportunity for the trainees to engage with senior leadership and gain deeper insights into the vision and strategic direction of both The Bharat Scouts and Guides and the Yuva Aapda Mitra Scheme.

विश्व तंबाकू निषेध दिवस 2026 | मंडला, मध्य प्रदेश 🚭

“तंबाकू छोड़ें – स्वस्थ जीवन अपनाएं”

विश्व तंबाकू निषेध दिवस (31 मई) के अवसर पर मध्य प्रदेश राज्य भारत स्काउट्स एवं गाइड्स के मंडला जिले में 25 मई से 31 मई 2026 तक ‘नो टोबैको वीक’ का आयोजन किया गया। मुख्य चिकित्सा एवं स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी डॉ. डी. जे. माही के मार्गदर्शन में स्वास्थ्य विभाग तथा विभिन्न विभागों के समन्वय से जन-जागरूकता अभियान चलाया गया।

CLAP (क्लेप) प्रोजेक्ट की गतिविधियों से मंडला जिले के लोग धीरे-धीरे प्रभावित हो रहे हैं और नौतपा की भीषण गर्मी में भी घरों से बाहर निकलकर अन्य लोगों को जागरूक कर रहे हैं। कल आयोजित नशामुक्ति रैली में मंडला के स्काउटर श्री संजय सिंगौर एवं गाइडर श्रीमती कल्पना नागेश्वर की सक्रिय उपस्थिति में एक शानदार नशामुक्ति जन-जागरूकता रैली तथा शपथ ग्रहण कार्यक्रम संपन्न हुआ।

कार्यक्रम के दौरान तंबाकू सेवन के दुष्प्रभावों, तंबाकू नियंत्रण अधिनियम (COTPA-2003), तंबाकू-मुक्त शिक्षण संस्थानों तथा नशामुक्त समाज के निर्माण पर विशेष जोर दिया गया। जिला अस्पताल एवं अन्य स्वास्थ्य संस्थानों में लोगों को तंबाकू छोड़ने हेतु परामर्श एवं आवश्यक सहायता भी प्रदान की गई।
World No To***co Day 2026 | Mandla, Madhya Pradesh 🚭
"Quit To***co – Embrace a Healthy Life"
On the occasion of World No To***co Day (31 May), a "No To***co Week" was organized in Mandla district by the Madhya Pradesh State Bharat Scouts and Guides from 25 May to 31 May 2026. Under the guidance of Dr. D. J. Mahi, Chief Medical and Health Officer, the Health Department, in coordination with various departments, conducted a public awareness campaign across the district.
The activities of the CLAP Project are gradually creating a positive impact among the people of Mandla district. Despite the intense heat of the Nautapa period, community members stepped out of their homes to spread awareness and encourage others to adopt a to***co-free lifestyle.
A successful anti-addiction awareness rally and pledge-taking ceremony was organized on 31st May 2026 with the active participation of Scouter Mr. Sanjay Singour and Guider Mrs. Kalpana Nageshwar. Their leadership and involvement contributed significantly to the success of the event.
During the programme, special emphasis was placed on the harmful effects of to***co consumption, the provisions of the Ci******es and Other To***co Products Act (COTPA), 2003, to***co-free educational institutions, and the collective responsibility of building a drug-free and healthy society. Counseling and support services were also provided at the District Hospital and other health institutions to help individuals quit to***co use.

उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य भारत स्काउट्स एवं गाइड्स के जनपद मथुरा द्वारा पुरुषोत्तम मास के दौरान ब्रज चौरासी कोस पैदल यात्रा में परिक्रमा कर रहे श्रद्धालुओं एवं भक्तों के लिए टाउनशिप स्थित कदम्ब विहार मार्ग पर भोजन प्रसाद, चाय सेवा एवं जल सेवा का आयोजन किया गया। उक्त सेवा कार्य में जनपद की विभिन्न स्काउट एवं गाइड इकाइयों के बच्चों ने बढ़-चढ़कर भाग लिया तथा सेवाभाव का उत्कृष्ट परिचय दिया।
सेवा शिविर में जिलामुख्यायुक्त डॉ. कमल कौशिक, जिला कमिश्नर (स्काउट) श्री निखिल अग्रवाल, जिला सचिव श्री जोगेन्द्र सिंह, जिला प्रशिक्षण आयुक्त (स्काउट) श्री अशोक कुमार सोलंकी, जिला संगठन आयुक्त (स्काउट) श्री मनोज कुमार रावत, जिला संगठन आयुक्त (गाइड) श्रीमती गुरुप्यारी सत्संगी, लेफ्टिनेंट पवन चौधरी, लीडर ट्रेनर (स्काउट) श्री दयाशंकर शर्मा, स्काउट मास्टर अंकुर, क्षेत्रपाल सिंह, लविश गोला, प्रेमप्रकाश, रिंकू, पूनम, लाडो, रौनक, ईशानी, हर्ष, सौरभ, संध्या, प्रियांशी, सुमित, देव एवं ईशानी सहित अनेक गणमान्य व्यक्ति एवं स्काउट-गाइड सदस्य प्रमुख रूप से उपस्थित रहे।
Mathura District of Uttar Pradesh State Bharat Scouts and Guides organized food prasadam, tea service, and drinking water service for devotees and pilgrims undertaking the Braj Chaurasi Kos Parikrama during the month of Purushottam. The service was conducted at Kadamb Vihar Road, Township, where the pilgrims were passing through. Scouts and Guides from various units of the district actively participated in the service activities and demonstrated a strong spirit of service.

The service camp was attended by District Chief Commissioner Dr. Kamal Kaushik, District Commissioner (Scout) Shri Nikhil Agarwal, District Secretary Shri Jogendra Singh, District Training Commissioner (Scout) Shri Ashok Kumar Solanki, District Organisation Commissioner (Scout) Shri Manoj Kumar Rawat, District Organisation Commissioner (Guide) Smt. स्वच्छ गांव सुरक्षित जलवायु अभियान अंतर्गत डंप स्थल की गई सफाई
Madhya Pradesh : Project Clap : विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस 2026 के अवसर पर दिनांक 01 जून 2026 से 05 जून 2026 तक जिला कलेक्टर सुश्री प्रीति यादव, जिला पंचायत सीईओ श्री बी. एस. सोलंकी, जिला शिक्षा अधिकारी श्री सौरभ जैन एवं जिला समन्वयक प्रभारी, स्वच्छ भारत मिशन (ग्रामीण), श्री पवन स्वर्णकार के निर्देशन में "स्वच्छ गांव, सुरक्षित जलवायु" अभियान आयोजित किया जा रहा है। इसका उद्देश्य ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में स्वच्छता, ठोस एवं तरल अपशिष्ट प्रबंधन, Mission LiFE के प्रति जन-जागरूकता तथा जन-भागीदारी सुनिश्चित करना है।
अभियान के अंतर्गत ठोस अपशिष्ट प्रबंधन नियम, 2026 के प्रावधानों के अनुरूप ग्राम पंचायत स्तर पर विशेष गतिविधियाँ आयोजित की जा रही हैं। अभियान अवधि में ग्राम पंचायतों द्वारा परिसंपत्तियों का सत्यापन, चार-स्तरीय कचरा पृथक्करण (Four Stream Segregation), प्लास्टिक अपशिष्ट प्रबंधन, लिगेसी वेस्ट प्रबंधन, स्वच्छता परिसंपत्तियों के संचालन एवं रखरखाव तथा जन-जागरूकता संबंधी गतिविधियाँ संचालित की जा रही हैं।
अभियान के प्रथम दिवस पर शासकीय एकीकृत माध्यमिक विद्यालय, खेरिया (सुसनेर) में राष्ट्रीय शिक्षक पुरस्कार प्राप्त शिक्षक एवं जलवायु परिवर्तन नेता श्री भेरूलाल ओसारा तथा सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता सुश्री रीना यादव के मार्गदर्शन में चयनित स्वैच्छिक प्रकृति प्रेमियों के साथ जन-जागरूकता एवं उन्मुखीकरण बैठक आयोजित की गई। साथ ही, पुराने कचरा डंप स्थलों की पहचान कर वहाँ साफ-सफाई अभियान भी चलाया गया।
इस अवसर पर प्रकृति प्रेमी राहुल यादव, नैतिक यादव, पिंस यादव, विजय यादव, विनय यादव, मंजू यादव, दीपिका यादव, सजना यादव आदि ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया।
Madhya Pradesh: Project CLAP
On the occasion of World Environment Day 2026, the "Clean Village, Safe Climate" campaign is being organized from 1 June to 5 June 2026 under the guidance of District Collector Ms. Preeti Yadav, District Panchayat CEO Shri B. S. Solanki, District Education Officer Shri Saurabh Jain, and District Coordinator-in-Charge, Swachh Bharat Mission (Rural), Shri Pawan Swarnkar. The objective of the campaign is to promote cleanliness, solid and liquid waste management, public awareness, and community participation in Mission LiFE across rural areas.
Under the campaign, special activities are being conducted at the Gram Panchayat level in accordance with the provisions of the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2026. These activities include verification of sanitation assets, four-stream waste segregation, plastic waste management, legacy waste management, operation and maintenance of sanitation infrastructure, and public awareness programmes.
On the first day of the campaign, an awareness and orientation meeting was organized at Government Integrated Secondary School, Kheriya (Susner), under the guidance of National Teacher Award recipient and Climate Change Leader Shri Bherulal Osara, along with social worker Ms. Reena Yadav. Selected volunteer nature enthusiasts participated in the programme. In addition, old waste dump sites were identified and a cleanliness drive was undertaken at these locations.

Various activities were conducted by the members of Sirsa District of the Haryana State Bharat Scouts and Guides on the occasion of World Environment Day. Scouts and Guides of Government Senior Secondary School (GSSS), Desu Malkana, Sirsa, GMS Jandwala Jattan and GMS Asir took part in a plantation drive and a drawing competition, spreading the message of environmental conservation and the importance of protecting nature. These activities are conducted under the leadership of Dr Sikander Singh, Shri Kulwinder Singh and Shri Tarsem Singh.
