Shri Rajnish Kumar, IDAS, CGDA launched ' PADMA' , (Pay roll automation for disbursement of Monthly Allowances) an automated module for disbursement of P & A for Indian Coast Guard. This module developed under the aegis of Defence Accounts department Hqrs aims at releasing the dues of Indian Coast Guard Officers and Personnel timely and correctly.

This is in line with Digital India and a true example of Atmanirbhar Bharat as the module has been completely developed by WIPRO and in-house domain experts. The module also lays the foundation of Centralized Pay Sytem being conceptualized by the Department for the entire armed forces.

A collegiate meeting was held on 26th May 2022 between DAD Hqrs and IHQ MoD Army under the chairmanship of Rozy Agarwal, Jt. CGDA and in the presence of Brigadier R. K. Prusty and Colonel A K Singh from Army side. The collegiate addressed various issues related to Pay & Allowances of Indian Army Officers and Personnel with a view to ease out the processes leading to timely disbursment.

The Collegiate also took up matters relating to procedural and systemic reforms. A synergy conference is next on the agenda.

The new office building of Pay & Accounts Office (PAO) for Personnel Below Officer Rank (PBORs) for Regiment was inaugurated in today by CGDA Shri Rajnish Kumar IDAS in presence of GOC Delhi Area Lt. General Vijay K Mishra & PCDA(WC) Shri Devi Ram Negi IDAS.

The PAO manages pay & allowances for more than 23,500 jawans, totalling nearly Rs 160 Crore per month.

A team from Defence Accounts Dept HQrs lead by Shri Sugata Ghosh Dastidar, IDAS, Addl. CGDA comprising of Smt. Alka Sharma, IDAS, Sr. Jt.CGDA, Shri Rozy Agarwal, IDAS, Jt. CGDA and Smt. Navpreet Kaur, IDAS, Dy. CGDA, Shri Himtesh and Shri P K Singh Accounts officers visited Records Office of Rajputana Rifle Regiment Centre on 05 May 2022 for demo-cum-presentation on the functioning of HRMS and ARPAN Application of the Army and its compatibility with DOLPHIN pay system of the JCO/Ors of Indian Army.

This Meeting was conducted under the aegus of AG’s Brach, IHQ of MoD (Army) and was attended by Brig. R.K. Prusty, Col. A.K Singh, Lt. Col Madan Chaudhary, Lt. Col S. Palani CRO, Shri S K Rajput, IDAS, OIC PAO RRC and other officers from the Army HQrs and Rajputana Rifle Regiment Centre. During the synergy meeting various issues relating to functioning of pay disbursal of JCO Jawans were discuss with the aim of creating synergy and coherence between various platform in DAD and Army formations.

: Addln CGDA Praveen Kumar, IDAS chaired meeting with Pudi Hariprasad of Dept of Ex-Servicemen Welfare & CEO of Common Service Centers to discuss training of Common Service Centers & streamlining implementation of SPARSH across nearly 4 lakh CSCs across the country.

Discussions ranged from helping CSCs understand the intricacies of as well as exploring the establishment of coordination between CSCs & State/Zila Sainik Boards.

The Defence Accounts Department under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India is the nodal implementing agency for Project , which is envisaged on a ‘whole of the government’ approach and carefully integrates over 3000 pension initiating, sanctioning and disbursement agencies and brings pensions services right at the door step of the veterans – from digital process of pensioner verification to real time tracking of grievance redressal.
