Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat Shri Harsh Sanghavi pitched the PM MITRA Park in Navsari to over 35 Japanese textile companies at a roundtable in Tokyo, inviting them to explore manufacturing and investment opportunities in Gujarat.

Highlighting Gujarat’s integrated textile value chain, port connectivity and industrial infrastructure, he showcased the state’s potential to support textile manufacturing across the value chain, aligned with the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s 5F vision - Farm to Fibre to Factory to Fashion to Foreign.

The engagement marks a step towards strengthening India–Japan textile ties and encouraging future investment at PM MITRA Parks.

An interactive Investors’ Meet for PM MITRA Park, Navsari, was held in Surat, bringing together government representatives and prospective investors to discuss investment opportunities and the development of a world-class textile manufacturing ecosystem.

Hon’ble Union Minister of Textiles Shri Giriraj Singh and Smt. Arti Kanwar, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, was present at the meeting. During the investor interaction, Shri Giriraj Singh addressed the queries of prospective investors, engaging directly with stakeholders and responding to their concerns.

Investors expressed keen interest in setting up units at PM MITRA Parks, reflecting the growing opportunities for investment in India’s textile manufacturing sector.

Shri Giriraj Singh also reviewed Steamhouse and its Command and Control Centre to explore sustainable solutions for efficient industrial park management.

The NICDC team facilitated the meeting, supporting stakeholder engagement and investment discussions aimed at advancing the PM MITRA Scheme’s vision of strengthening India’s textile manufacturing ecosystem.
