La Solidaridad con Cuba desde la India una vez más dice, ¡Presente!

Nueva Delhi, 16 de noviembre de 2021. En horas de la tarde de hoy fue celebrado un emotivo acto de solidaridad con Cuba desde esta capital. Convocados por el Comité Nacional de Solidaridad con Cuba y por la Organización Nacional de Paz y Solidaridad de toda la India, se congregaron en la sede de la escuela nacional del Partido Comunista de la India (Marxista), HKS. Surjeet Bhawan, amigos de diferentes grupos de solidaridad con Cuba, miembros de los partidos comunistas, estudiantes universitarios y profesores, entre otros, para manifestar su apoyo a la Revolución, al pueblo y Gobierno cubano, así como, para rendir homenaje al Comandante en Jefe, Fidel Castro, en ocasión del próximo 25 de noviembre cuando se cumplirá el 5to aniversario de su desaparición física. Los asistentes también portaron pañuelos y brazaletes rojos en apoyo a dicha iniciativa que hoy se lleva a cabo desde la Isla.

La actividad contó con la presencia del Secretario General del Partido Comunista de la India (Marxista), Sitaram Yechuri, del Secretario General del Partido Comunista de la India, D. Raja, así como, por la parte cubana estuvo el Encargado de Negocios de la Misión diplomática en Nueva Delhi, Juan Carlos Marcof Sánchez.

La jornada comenzó con la exhibición de la exposición fotográfica, Fidel y la Política Exterior de la Revolución cubana y además se proyectó el documental Fidel es Fidel, del realizador Roberto Chile, el cual fue ovacionado por los presentes.

Ambos Secretarios Generales de los Partidos comunistas reiteraron el más firme mensaje de solidaridad con Cuba, en medio de los intentos de desestabilización en la Isla que son orquestados por las fuerzas imperialistas desde los Estados Unidos y que buscan acabar con el ejemplo que Cuba representa para el mundo. Recordaron el donativo de Harina de Trigo que ellos enviaron a Cuba en los años 90 y que fuera recibido por Fidel en el puerto, bautizando aquella carga como el “Pan de la India” y como esta vez igualmente, a través de los Comités partidistas indios radicados en Reino Unido y Canadá han donado a Cuba sumas de dinero que fueron utilizadas en la compra de medicamentos y otros insumos para el enfrentamiento a la COVID-19 en la Isla.

Por su parte, el diplomático cubano resaltó los motivos por los cuales Cuba está celebrando en estos días: como son el reinicio del curso escolar; la reapertura total de las fronteras cubanas y la reanudación de la actividad turística. Por otra parte, el avance de la campaña de vacunación y los resultados favorables en el enfrentamiento a la COVID. El desarrollo de las tres vacunas cubanas, que ha permitido que hoy el 76% de la población esté totalmente inmunizada, incluyendo a los niños de 2 años en adelante. Marcof informó sobre los intentos frustrados de desestabilización que tenían como objetivo arruinar las celebraciones en la Isla el pasado 15 de noviembre. Detalló la guerra no convencional orquestada y financiada desde Estados Unidos a la que está siendo sometido el pueblo cubano y cómo desde organizaciones vinculadas al Gobierno norteamericano se destinan sumas importantes de dinero para subvertir el orden interno en Cuba. Asimismo, agradeció por las históricas muestras de afecto y solidaridad recibidas por los amigos de la India, en los momentos más difíciles, muestra del carácter irrevocable de las relaciones entre ambas Naciones y pueblos.

La velada concluyó con una cantata por parte de los estudiantes indios que asistieron a la actividad de conjunto con los miembros de la Misión diplomática cubana, quienes interpretaron canciones emblemáticas de la Isla caribeña.

La Cámara de Asociados de Comercio e Industria de la India promueve relaciones con Cuba.

El Embajador de Cuba en la India, Alejandro Simancas, visitó la sede de la Cámara de Asociados de Comercio e Industria de la India (ASSOCHAM), situada en Nueva Delhi, donde fue recibido por el Secretario General de la Organización Deepak Sood y por la asistente del Secretario General Meenakshi Sharma. Durante el encuentro se evaluaron las vías para fortalecer las relaciones comerciales, económicas y financieras entre ambos países, y en particular, con la Cámara de Comercio de la República de Cuba, con la cual ASSOCHAM tiene suscrito un acuerdo de cooperación. Se acordó promover un mayor conocimiento de las potencialidades comerciales y de inversión entre ambos países y un mayor intercambio entre las empresas cubanas e indias; para lo cual se evaluó como principal espacio la segunda edición del Foro de Negocios “Cuba Bussines 2021”.

International Sanitary Control Measures

Cuba is heading towards a controlled and staggered reopening of its borders, with a view to the coming November 15; which has among its security guarantees, that more than 90% of the Cuban population will be vaccinated with the scheme established for that date.

On the other hand, workers in the tourism sector and workers in transport, customs, immigration and aviation, together with those of Public Health, were among the first to be vaccinated, and before November 15, a dose of reinforcement.

In correspondence with the results achieved, the International Sanitary Control measures that were adopted in the community transmission phase are made more flexible and the following are established:

The mandatory quarantine of international travelers upon arrival in the country is eliminated as of November 7.
As of November 15, the border entry PCR-RT will be eliminated .
All international travelers (Cubans or foreigners) who arrive in the country must present a health passport or international anti-COVID-19 certificate of those vaccines certified by the corresponding regulatory agencies.
All travelers who do not present a health passport or international anti-COVID-19 vaccination certification must carry a COVID-19 negative RT-PCR certification , carried out no more than 72 hours before traveling, in a certified laboratory. in the country of origin.
Children under 12 years of age , regardless of their nationality, upon arrival in Cuba, will be exempt from presenting a vaccination schedule or RT-PCR test.
When boarding the flight at origin, airlines will require their passengers to provide evidence of a vaccination scheme, or a negative RT-PCR test applied within 72 hours beforehand.
The presentation of the Declaration of Health of the Traveler (Affidavit of Health) will be requested .
The International Sanitary Control staff will randomly take a sample for RT-PCR at the airport.
The mandatory use of the nasobuco or mask is maintained within the air and port terminals, as well as throughout the country.
Epidemiological surveillance of international sanitary control will be maintained at all points of entry: ports, airports, marinas.
All international travelers who arrive in the country through any point of entry and present signs and symptoms of COVID-19 or another communicable disease, will be referred to a health institution designated for that purpose and a PCR-RT test will be performed.
It will remain epidemiological surveillance of tourists in hotel facilities during their stay in the country for that medical care is strengthened by the location of basic health teams.
The owners of the rental houses or people who host non-resident travelers in the country are responsible for immediately informing the corresponding health authorities of the appearance of any symptoms that they present.
The health areas in the community will maintain the epidemiological surveillance of tourists staying in private homes, establishing the obligation to appear before the health authorities, in case of presenting signs or symptoms suggestive of COVID-19.
For Cuban travelers residing in the country , the obligation to appear at the family doctor's office or health area is restored within a period of no more than 48 hours after their arrival, to be followed up by the family doctor.
Every Cuban resident travelers in the country of not being vaccinated, will perform test antigen to SARS-CoV-2 at 7 mo day of the arrival, in the health area; and in case of presenting symptoms, it will be treated as a suspicious case.
The Ministry of Tourism works towards a responsible recovery of tourism in Cuba, for which all the facilities that will provide service have the Most Hygienic and Safe Tourism (T + HS) certification, thereby guaranteeing compliance with the protocols established by the Ministry of Public Health and Tourism.

On the other hand, a second cycle of training is being carried out on the sanitary hygiene protocols of the sector, where state and non-state workers participate, and emphasis is placed on raising the perception of risk and the redesign of the processes that guarantee the tourist operation, in By virtue of compliance with the protocols, without affecting the quality of the service.

The protocols in the facilities are reinforced, the use of the mask in closed places and in the presence of other people, physical distancing (with capacity for the different premises of the facility), constant sanitation, hand disinfection measures, taking temperature, among others.
