As part of weekly webinar on PM Dhan Dhaanya Krishi Yojana (DDKY), a webinar on "Measures (including zero tillage sowing, water conservation) to be taken to manage impacts of El Nino in the PMDDKY districts" was conducted today.

Dr Rajbir Singh Deputy Director General (Agricultural Extension), ICAR and Shri V.K. Singh, Director (CRIDA), ICAR presented the session. The officers of DA&FW, State & district officers and Central Nodal Officers of DDKY districts, attended the webinar.

🌱 Plastic Elimination Campaign at CFMTTI, Budni 🌱

Under Mission LiFE and the celebration of World Environment Day 2026, a Plastic Elimination Campaign was organized today at CFMTTI, Budni. Officers, staff, and trainees actively participated in collecting and disposing of plastic waste from the institute premises.

The Director, CFMTTI, Budni, emphasized the need for a strict ban on single-use plastics across offices, hostels, and testing bays and highlighted the harmful effects of plastic pollution on the environment and sustainable livelihoods.

Together, we pledge to reduce plastic use and contribute towards a cleaner, greener, and sustainable future. 🌍♻️

As part of the , an awareness program was successfully conducted at various locations across Nagaland. The sessions focused on educating farmers about balanced and judicious use of fertilizers, and Importance of Natural farming.
