Participation of Tajik team in international Olympiad

Six students of the 9 Grade from "International School in Dushanbe" under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan participated from May 25 to 31, 2026, in the 11th Amity Olympiad on sciences, which was held in the city of Noida, India.
They successfully participated in the competition and won three gold and three silver medals.

Аз санаи 25 то 31 майи соли 2026 дар шаҳри Ноидаи Ҷумҳурии Ҳиндустон 11-умин Олимпиадаи Амитӣ аз фанҳои дақиқ баргузор гардид, ки дар он шаш нафар хонандагони синфи 9-уми МДТ "Мактаби байналмилалӣ дар шаҳри Душанбе"-и назди Вазорати корҳои хориҷии Ҷумҳурии Тоҷикистон иштирок намуданд.
Онҳо дар байни шогирдони болаёқати дигар кишварҳо бомуваффақият қувваозмоӣ намуда, соҳиби 3 медали тилло ва 3 медали нуқра гардиданд.

Meeting with Director-General of Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI)

On 29April 2026 Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Republic of India Mr. Lukmon Bobokalonzoda met with Director-General of the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure Mr. Amit Prothi.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the prospects for furthering cooperation in the field of disaster resilient infrastructure, issues related to accelerated melting of glaciers and DRR, as well as cooperation within the frameworks of the “International Decade for Action on Cryosphere Sciences” and “International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development”.

Зимни мулоқот ҷонибҳо роҷеъ ба дурнамои рушди ҳамкориҳо дар соҳаи инфрасохтори тобъовар ба офатҳои табиӣ, масъалаҳои марбут ба таъсири обшавии пиряхҳо ва ҳамкориҳо дар доираи “Даҳсолаи байналмилалии амал оид ба илмҳои криосфера” ва “Даҳсолаи амал оид ба “Об барои рушди устувор” мубодилаи созандаи афкор анҷом доданд.

The Olympic team of Tajikistan (U-23) became the winner of the international tournament in India

The Olympic national football team of Tajikistan (U-23) under the leadership of Mubin Ergashev became the winner of the international tournament "The U-23 Tri Nation International Football Tournament 2026", which ended in India
In the final round, our team met with peers from India. The match was held at the Golden Jubilee Stadium in the city of Yupia and ended with the victory of the national team of Tajikistan with a score of 1:0.
Earlier in the first round, the Olympic team of Tajikistan beat the team of Bhutan (1:0).
Thus, having won two victories in two matches, the Olympic team of Tajikistan (U-23) took first place and became the winner of the international tournament in India.

Дастаи мунтахаби олимпии Тоҷикистон оид ба футбол ғолиби мусобиқаи байналмилалӣ дар Ҳиндустон гардид

Дастаи олимпии то 23-солаи Тоҷикистон оид ба футбол таҳти роҳбарии Мубин Эргашев ғолиби Мусобиқаи байналмилалии «The U-23 Tri Nation International Football Tournament 2026» гардид.
Дар даври ниҳоӣ дастаи мо бо ҳамтоёнаш аз Ҳиндустон бозӣ кард. Бозӣ дар варзишгоҳи «Golden Jubilee Stadium»-и Юпия доир гашта, бо ҳисоби 1:0 ба фоидаи Тоҷикистон ба анҷом расид. Қаблан дар даври аввал дастаи олимпии то 23-солаи Тоҷикистон Бутанро бо ҳисоби 1:0 мағлуб карда буд.
Ҳамин тариқ, бо ду пирӯзӣ дар ду бозӣ дастаи мунтахаби олимпии то 23-солаи Тоҷикистон ҷойи якумро ишғол карда, ғолиби мусобиқаи байналмилалӣ дар Ҳиндустон шуд.

Navruz Celebration at the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in New Delhi
On 28 March this year, a ceremonial event marking the International Navruz celebration was held at the premises of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The gathering brought together students and citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan residing in India for study and professional activities. To mark the occasion, a traditional Haft Sin table and a festive arrangement of national cuisine were presented.
Addressing the audience, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan extended warm congratulations and highlighted Navruz as an ancient cultural heritage symbolizing renewal, harmony with nature, and the values of peace and unity. It was noted that following the restoration of state independence, Navruz was reaffirmed in Tajikistan as an official national holiday.
Reference was also made to the statements of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, who has emphasized the role of Navruz in strengthening moral values, national identity, and intergenerational continuity.
The event concluded with remarks on the importance of youth engagement in promoting Tajikistan internationally and advancing cultural cooperation between Tajikistan and India, in a warm and dignified atmosphere.

Таҷлили ҷашни байналмилалии Наврӯз дар Сафорати Ҷумҳурии Тоҷикистон дар Деҳлии Нав
28 марти соли ҷорӣ дар бинои Сафорати Ҷумҳурии Тоҷикистон чорабинии идона бахшида ба ҷашни байналмилалии Наврӯз баргузор гардид.
Дар чорабинӣ донишҷӯён ва шаҳрвандони Ҷумҳурии Тоҷикистон, ки дар Ҳиндустон таҳсил ва фаъолият доранд, иштирок намуданд. Ба ифтихори ҷашн суфраи суннатии «7-син» ва дастархони идона бо таомҳои миллӣ ороста шуд.
Сафири Ҷумҳурии Тоҷикистон зимни суханронии худ ҳозиринро бо фарорасии Наврӯз табрик гуфта, таъкид намуд, ки ин ҷашни бостонӣ рамзи навшавӣ, эҳёи табиат, сулҳ ва ваҳдати мардумон мебошад. Political consultations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of India
On April 1, 2026, political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of India at the level of Deputy Foreign Ministers of the two countries were held in Dushanbe.
During the consultations, the parties exchanged views on the prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation. Special attention was paid to the issues of strengthening political dialogue, economic and trade relations, attracting investment, developing relations in the fields of science and education, economy and trade, and culture.
At the same time, the parties discussed issues of multilateral cooperation, including within the framework of the Central Asia-India Dialogue, international and regional organizations, and expressed readiness to continue constructive cooperation within the framework of these structures.

Машваратҳои сиёсӣ миёни Ҷумҳурии Тоҷикистон ва Ҷумҳурии Ҳиндустон
1 апрели соли 2026 дар шаҳри Душанбе машваратҳои сиёсӣ миёни вазоратҳои корҳои хориҷии Ҷумҳурии Тоҷикистон ва Ҷумҳурии Ҳиндустон дар сатҳи муовинони вазирони корҳои хориҷии ду кишвар баргузор гардид.
Зимни машваратҳо ҷонибҳо атрофи дурнамои густариши ҳамкориҳои дуҷониба табодули афкор намуданд. Таваҷҷуҳи махсус ба масъалаҳои таҳкими муколамаи сиёсӣ, робитаҳои иқтисоди-тиҷоратӣ, ҷалби сармоя, рушди муносибатҳо дар соҳаҳои илму маориф, иқтисодию тиҷоратӣ ва фарҳанг зоҳир гардид.

Meeting Between Tajikistan’s Energy Sector and Indian Business at BES 2026
Within the framework of the international energy exhibition BES 2026, held in New Delhi, a meeting took place between representatives of Tajikistan’s energy sector and Indian business circles. The Minister of Energy and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan, Daler Juma, visited the pavilion of the Indian energy giant Tata Power and reviewed the company’s latest technological solutions and investment proposals, including developments in renewable energy, grid digitalization, and energy efficiency enhancement.
Special attention was given to issues related to the modernization of energy infrastructure and the introduction of advanced management practices. In addition, the Minister held a meeting with Praveer Sinha, during which the parties discussed the company’s ongoing projects in Tajikistan as well as prospects for expanding cooperation. Discussions focused on potential Indian participation in the development of distribution networks, the implementation of smart metering systems, and the management of electricity sales and billing processes.
It should be noted that Tata Power is currently implementing a project in Tajikistan under a grant from the Asian Development Bank, providing management support to the company Shabakahoi Taqsimoti Barq. The main objective of the project is to improve the operational performance of the national power utility, reduce electricity losses, and enhance the quality of services provided.

Вазири энергетика ва захираҳои оби Ҷумҳурии Тоҷикистон Далер Ҷумъа аз экспозитсияи калони энергетикии Ҳиндустон - Tata Power - боздид намуда, бо технологияҳои навтарин ва пешниҳодҳои сармоягузории ширкат, аз ҷумла дар соҳаҳои энергетикаи барқароршаванда, рақамисозии шабакаҳо ва баланд бардоштани самаранокии энергетикӣ, шинос гардид.

Tajikistan and Bhutan Discuss Energy Cooperation at a Summit in Delhi
On the sidelines of the international forum Bharat Electricity Summit 2026 held in New Delhi, a bilateral meeting took place between the Minister of Energy and Water Resources of Tajikistan, Daler Shofakir, and the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Bhutan, Lyonpo Gem Tshering.
The parties emphasized that Tajikistan and Bhutan share similar natural conditions, primarily significant hydropower resources. Both countries are actively developing their water and energy sectors and possess comparable potential in the field of sustainable energy.
Daler Shofakir invited the Bhutanese side to visit Tajikistan to participate in an international water conference scheduled for May, and to visit one of the country’s largest energy facilities - the Rogun Hydropower Plant, which is a key pillar of the national energy strategy.
