GENERAL MEETING IN SURAT OFFICE

Rajasthan High Court observed that law enforcement agencies should avoid sharing photos or videos of arrested individuals on social media platforms.

The court emphasized that every person, whether accused or under investigation, deserves respect for personal dignity and privacy until proven guilty by law.

According to the observation, public exposure before conviction may violate constitutional protections and affect the principle of fair justice.

The remarks were made while hearing a matter concerning the circulation of arrest-related images online by police authorities.

The court also noted that social media should not become a platform for public judgment or character assassination.

Legal experts believe the observation strengthens the importance of human rights, due process, and responsible use of digital platforms.

When a student arriving in Charlapally to appear for the EAMCET examination was denied entry after forgetting the hall ticket and arriving late, Mr. Sainoj Jagadeesh, Working President of the Human Rights organization, responded immediately.

He escorted the student to the nearest police station, explained the situation to the Honorable SI, arranged for an online printout of the hall ticket from the station, and helped the student gain access to the examination.
