PHG-CTBI, Punjab Govt Joint Venture, aims to import & train high bloodline & pedigreed canines.

PHG-CTBI (Punjab Home Guards Canine Training & Breeding Institute) has been setup in collaboration with Department of Home Affairs, Government of Punjab. The facility has come up in Village Sundraan, Teshil Dera Bassi, District Mohali, PUNJAB. PHG-CTBI is training Canine/Handler teams in new techniques and to higher standards of effectiveness than ever before. PHG-CTBI takes this opportunity to introduce Indian Law Enforcement to revolutionary Canine Passive Detection modes. Today, in India, the majority of canines belonging to Police and Government Agencies lie idle in kennels called to duty no more than once or twice a week. PHG-CTBI trains canine teams to patrol every day in different venues assisting Law Enforcement in detection of Narcotics, Explosives and other training disciplines offered by PHG-CTBI.
