Durgapur Institute for Fire Safety and Management (DIFSM) is proud to have been associated with the National Power Training Institute (NPTI), Eastern Region, Durgapur, as a Safety Training Partner for conducting the Operational Safety and Disaster Management Training Programme for the Junior Level Staff of South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited (SBPDCL), Patna.

Being entrusted by NPTI, Durgapur with this important training assignment reflects the confidence placed in DIFSM's expertise and experience in the field of safety education and professional training. Our faculty members successfully delivered the programme through a combination of practical demonstrations, interactive discussions, case studies, and real-life safety applications.

We are proud to share that an Emergency Fire Safety, Evacuation & Mock Drill Training Program was successfully conducted at Century Plywood (I) Ltd. to enhance plant safety and emergency preparedness.

🚨National Safety Week/Month 2026 🚨

On 12th March, an Emergency Evacuation Drill was successfully conducted at the HPCL Corporate Office, East Zone, Kolkata, as part of the National Safety Week/ Month 2026 observance.

The drill emphasized the standard evacuation protocol following siren activation, safe use of staircases during evacuation, and orderly movement to the designated Assembly Point.

The session was conducted through practical demonstration and guided participation to strengthen emergency response awareness among employees.

With the active support and cooperation of the employees and management, the drill was completed smoothly and effectively, reinforcing the importance of workplace emergency preparedness
