NPTI Sports Symposium-2026 Begins with Badminton Competition

Faridabad: The National Power Training Institute (NPTI), Corporate Office, Faridabad, is organising the NPTI Sports Symposium-2026 from 5 to 12 October 2026. The event aims to promote sportsmanship, healthy competition, team spirit and camaraderie among the officers, employees and students of NPTI under the guidance of Shri Hemant Jain, Director General, NPTI and Member (Grid Operation & Distribution), Central Electricity Authority (CEA).

Dr. Indu Maheshwari, Principal Director (Training), NPTI, inaugurated the Sports Symposium-2026 with the Badminton Competition. Dr. Vatsala Sharma, Director (Training), and Dr. Deepak Kumar Sharma, Director (Projects), along with Deputy Directors, Assistant Directors and other officers and employees of NPTI, were also present on the occasion. The badminton competition is being held at the Badminton Court, Brahmaputra Hostel, with enthusiastic participation from the participants.

This year, the Sports Symposium includes various competitions such as Badminton, Carrom, Table Tennis, Volleyball, Chess and Mini Marathon. Cash prizes will be awarded to the winners who excel in the respective competitions.

The various competitions under NPTI Sports Symposium-2026 will continue until 12 October 2026. The event has generated great enthusiasm among the officers, employees and students of NPTI.

हिंदी पखवाड़ा-2026 का पुरस्कार वितरण एवं सम्मान समारोह के साथ समापन

फरीदाबाद। राष्ट्रीय विद्युत प्रशिक्षण प्रतिष्ठान (NPTI), कॉरपोरेट कार्यालय, फरीदाबाद में राजभाषा विभाग के निर्देशानुसार 14 से 28 सितंबर 2026 तक आयोजित हिंदी पखवाड़ा-2026 का समापन पुरस्कार वितरण एवं सम्मान समारोह के साथ हुआ।

हिंदी पखवाड़ा-2026 के सभी कार्यक्रम श्री हेमन्त जैन, महानिदेशक, NPTI एवं सदस्य (ग्रिड ऑपरेशन एवं वितरण), केंद्रीय विद्युत प्राधिकरण (CEA) के दिशा-निर्देशन में आयोजित किए गए। इन आयोजनों के माध्यम से NPTI परिवार को हिंदी के अधिकाधिक प्रयोग, राजभाषा के प्रति जागरूकता तथा हिंदी भाषा एवं साहित्य के प्रति रुचि बढ़ाने के लिए प्रेरित किया गया।

हिंदी पखवाड़ा-2026 के अंतर्गत NPTI के राजभाषा अनुभाग द्वारा कुल छह प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन किया गया। इनमें सुलेख/श्रुतलेख, हिंदी में टिप्पण/आलेखन (नोटिंग/ड्राफ्टिंग) एवं अनुवाद, काव्य-पाठ, आशु-भाषण तथा राजभाषा प्रश्नोत्तरी प्रतियोगिता शामिल रहीं। प्रतियोगिताओं में अधिकारियों, कर्मचारियों एवं विद्यार्थियों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया।

पुरस्कार वितरण समारोह में डॉ. इंदु माहेश्वरी, प्रधान निदेशक; श्री सुरेन्द्र कुमार, निदेशक (प्रशासन); डॉ. वत्सला शर्मा, निदेशक (प्रशिक्षण); श्री शेखर ईश्वरदास महंत, निदेशक (आईटी); तथा डॉ. दीपक कुमार शर्मा, निदेशक (प्रोजेक्ट) ने विजेताओं को पुरस्कार प्रदान कर उनका उत्साहवर्धन किया।

विभिन्न प्रतियोगिताओं में सुलेख/श्रुतलेख में श्री सतीश चंद्र मिश्रा (एमटीएस), हिंदी टिप्पण/आलेखन एवं अनुवाद में श्री के. पी. एस. परमार, उपनिदेशक तथा श्री हिमांशु चिटकारा, कनिष्ठ लेखाकार, काव्य-पाठ में श्री रवि कुमार (PGDC), आशु-भाषण में श्री राहुल सिंह ठाकुर (PGDC) तथा राजभाषा प्रश्नोत्तरी में श्री प्रांजल जुगलान की टीम ने प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त किया।

मुख्य उद्बोधन में डॉ. इंदु माहेश्वरी, प्रधान निदेशक ने सभी विजेताओं एवं प्रतिभागियों को बधाई दी। उन्होंने अधिकारियों, कर्मचारियों एवं विद्यार्थियों को कार्यालयीन पत्राचार, ई-मेल, भाषण, प्रस्तुतीकरण तथा अन्य कार्यों में हिंदी के अधिकाधिक प्रयोग के लिए प्रेरित किया। उन्होंने कहा कि राजभाषा हिंदी का प्रयोग केवल प्रतियोगिताओं तक सीमित न रहकर दैनिक कार्यालयीन कार्यों का भी अभिन्न हिस्सा बनना चाहिए।

इस अवसर पर श्री सुरेन्द्र कुमार, निदेशक (प्रशासन) ने हिंदी पखवाड़ा-2026 के सफल आयोजन के लिए राजभाषा अनुभाग की सराहना की। उन्होंने श्री अशोक कुमार दीक्षित, उपनिदेशक (राजभाषा) एवं श्री ब्रजमोहन शर्मा, राजभाषा कार्यपालक के प्रयासों एवं योगदान के लिए विशेष आभार व्यक्त किया। साथ ही उन्होंने पखवाड़े के दौरान विभिन्न प्रतियोगिताओं एवं कार्यक्रमों में उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लेने वाले सभी अधिकारियों, कर्मचारियों एवं विद्यार्थियों को धन्यवाद दिया।
इस कार्यक्रम का संचालन श्री अशोक कुमार दीक्षित, उपनिदेशक (राजभाषा) द्वारा किया गया।

NPTI DG Addresses SASEC Energy Working Group Meeting in Colombo

Colombo: The South Asia Subregional Economic Cooperation (SASEC) Energy Working Group (EWG) Meeting was held in Colombo, Sri Lanka. bringing together energy officials from SASEC countries to discuss regional energy cooperation and capacity development.

Representing India during the Session on Skills and Capacity Development, Shri Hemant Jain, Director General, NPTI and Member (Grid Operation & Distribution), Central Electricity Authority (CEA), delivered a presentation highlighting NPTI’s role as the national apex institution for training and human resource development in the power sector, as well as its potential to support capacity building across SASEC countries.

The discussions focused on strengthening technical skills, power market development, smart grids, renewable energy, energy storage, digitalisation, cybersecurity, climate resilience and regulatory preparedness.

NPTI highlighted the importance of skilled manpower, common technical standards and institutional capacity as key enablers for successful regional power connectivity and cooperation.

The proposed cooperation framework envisages NPTI as the lead institution for designing and delivering training programmes, supported by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and participating SASEC countries. The participation of NPTI in the SASEC EWG reflects India’s commitment to promoting regional cooperation, knowledge sharing and capacity development in the power sector.

NPTI में ‘भजन जैमिंग’ का आयोजन, भक्ति, संगीत और सकारात्मक ऊर्जा से सराबोर हुई शाम

फरीदाबाद। राष्ट्रीय विद्युत प्रशिक्षण प्रतिष्ठान (NPTI), फरीदाबाद में डॉ. बी.एस.के. नायडू ऑडिटोरियम में ‘भजन जैमिंग’ कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य भक्ति संगीत के माध्यम से अधिकारियों, कर्मचारियों एवं विद्यार्थियों को सकारात्मकता, आध्यात्मिकता और आपसी जुड़ाव का अनुभव कराना रहा।

कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ दीप प्रज्ज्वलन एवं मां सरस्वती की वंदना के साथ हुआ। इस अवसर पर श्री हेमन्त जैन, महानिदेशक, NPTI एवं सदस्य (ग्रिड ऑपरेशन एवं वितरण), CEA; डॉ. इंदु माहेश्वरी, प्रधान निदेशक (प्रशिक्षण); श्री सुरेन्द्र कुमार, निदेशक (प्रशासन); डॉ. वत्सला शर्मा, निदेशक (प्रशिक्षण); तथा श्री एस.आई. महंत, निदेशक (आईटी) सहित अन्य अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे।

वहीं डॉ. इंदु माहेश्वरी ने सभी प्रतिभागियों एवं कलाकारों का स्वागत के बाद धन्यवाद भी किया। उन्होंने कहा कि "द ग्रीन गिटार बैंड" के बैनर तले सभी युवा कलाकारों ‘भजन जैमिंग’ में संगीत, भक्ति और सामूहिक सहभागिता का सुंदर संगम प्रस्तुत किया। जिससे NPTI परिसर में एक सकारात्मक और यादगार शाम बन गई।

कार्यक्रम में युवा कलाकारों शिखर एवं हर्षवर्धन (गायन), राघव (कीबोर्ड), अंश (गिटार) एवं निर्मित (ड्रम्स) ने भजनों की शानदार प्रस्तुतियां दीं। पारंपरिक भक्ति संगीत को आधुनिक वाद्ययंत्रों और सामूहिक गायन के साथ प्रस्तुत किया गया, जिससे पूरा सभागार भक्तिमय एवं आनंदमय वातावरण से भर गया।
