एनपीटीआई में निदेशक श्री दुर्गाशंकर साहू को दी गई भावभीनी विदाई

फरीदाबाद। सेक्टर-33 स्थित विद्युत मंत्रालय के राष्ट्रीय विद्युत प्रशिक्षण प्रतिष्ठान (एनपीटीआई) में संस्थान के वरिष्ठ एवं सम्मानित अधिकारी निदेशक श्री दुर्गाशंकर साहू के सेवानिवृत्ति उपलक्ष्य में एक गरिमामय विदाई समारोह का आयोजन किया गया। समारोह के दौरान संस्थान के वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों द्वारा श्री साहू का स्वागत पौधा भेंट कर सम्मानित किया गया। इसके उपरांत श्री हेमंत जैन, महानिदेशक, NPTI एवं सदस्य (GO&D), CEA ने उन्हें विदाई उपहार प्रदान कर उनके उत्कृष्ट एवं प्रेरणादायी सेवाकाल का सम्मान किया। इस अवसर पर महानिदेशक श्री जैन ने श्री साहू के स्वस्थ, सुखद एवं समृद्ध जीवन की कामना करते हुए उनके योगदान की सराहना की। समारोह में संस्थान के अधिकारियों, कर्मचारियों एवं उनके परिजनों की उपस्थिति ने कार्यक्रम को भावनात्मक एवं यादगार बना दिया।

श्री दुर्गाशंकर साहू ने वर्ष 1995 में एनपीटीआई दुर्गापुर में सहायक निदेशक के रूप में अपनी सेवाएं प्रारंभ की थीं। फरवरी 2006 में उन्हें उप निदेशक पद पर पदोन्नत किया गया तथा उनकी नियुक्ति एनपीटीआई फरीदाबाद में हुई। अक्टूबर 2018 में उन्हें निदेशक पद पर पदोन्नत किया गया। अपने लगभग 30 वर्षों के सेवाकाल में उन्होंने विशेष रूप से सिम्युलेटर आधारित प्रशिक्षण, विद्युत क्षेत्र की परियोजनाओं तथा संस्थान के विकास में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दिया। उन्होंने 500 मेगावाट एवं 800 मेगावाट ताप विद्युत संयंत्र सिम्युलेटरों के विकास और मल्टीफंक्शनल सिम्युलेटर परियोजना के सफल क्रियान्वयन में उल्लेखनीय भूमिका निभाई।

कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों, जिनमें डॉ. एस. सेल्वम (प्रधान निदेशक), डॉ. इंदु महेश्वरी (प्रधान निदेशक), श्री सुरेन्द्र कुमार (निदेशक, प्रशासन), डॉ. वत्सला शर्मा (निदेशक, प्रशिक्षण) सहित उप निदेशक एवं सह निदेशकगण उपस्थित रहे। सभी वक्ताओं ने श्री साहू के योगदान की सराहना करते हुए उनके उज्ज्वल एवं सुखद भविष्य की कामना की। कार्यक्रम का सफल संचालन डॉ. के.पी.एस. परमार (उप निदेशक) द्वारा किया गया।

अपने संबोधन में श्री साहू ने एनपीटीआई के साथ बिताए गए वर्षों को जीवन की अमूल्य धरोहर बताते हुए संस्थान और सहकर्मियों के प्रति आभार व्यक्त किया।

Farewell Ceremony Organized for MBA Power Management 2024–26 Batch at NPTI

Faridabad | The National Power Training Institute (NPTI), Faridabad, organized a farewell ceremony and Course Work Completion Certificate Distribution Programme for the students of the MBA Power Management Batch 2024–26. During the programme, students shared their experiences and memorable moments from their two-year journey at NPTI and presented heartfelt cultural performances.

The event was graced by Shri Hemant Jain, Director General, NPTI and Member (GO&D), Central Electricity Authority (CEA); Shri Sandeep Dhamija, CEO, TP Power Plus Limited and NPTI MBA-PM alumnus; Dr. S. Selvam, Principal Director (MBA), Dr. Indu Maheshwari, Principal Director (Training); Shri Amit Mishra, Deputy Director; and Shri Ashutosh Gupta, Assistant Director.

Delivering the welcome address, Dr. Indu Maheshwari, Principal Director (Training), encouraged students to remain lifelong learners, work with responsibility, and uphold integrity throughout their careers. She emphasized that curiosity, responsibility, and honesty are the keys to success in the rapidly evolving energy sector. Dr. S. Selvam, Principal Director, also extended his best wishes to all students for their bright future.

Shri Sandeep Dhamija shared his professional journey and inspired the students by emphasizing that there is no substitute for hard work and dedication. He encouraged them to face real-world professional challenges with confidence and determination.

In his address, Shri Hemant Jain highlighted the importance of professional ethics, passion for work, and patience in dealing with people and situations. He motivated the students to lead with purpose, maintain integrity, and actively contribute towards nation-building.

The programme concluded with certificate distribution, interactive sessions, and best wishes for the bright future of the graduating students.

NPTI inaugurated 12-Week Induction Training Programme for MPPTCL Junior Engineers

Faridabad | The National Power Training Institute (NPTI), Faridabad, inaugurated a 12-week Induction Training Programme for Junior Engineers (Transmission) of Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company Limited (MPPTCL) on 25 May 2026. The programme, being conducted under the guidance of Shri Hemant Jain, Director General, NPTI and Member (GO&D), Central Electricity Authority (CEA), will continue until 14 August 2026. The objective of the programme is to strengthen the technical knowledge and practical skills of the participating engineers.

Addressing the inaugural session, Dr. Indu Maheshwari, Principal Director (Training), NPTI, highlighted the importance of skill development, continuous learning, and practical training in the power sector. She encouraged the young engineers to make the best use of the training period and contribute effectively towards the growth of the energy sector.

Dr. Vatsala Sharma, Director (Training), NPTI, welcomed the participants and provided an overview of the training programme. She explained the objectives and structure of the programme. During the session, the participants also introduced themselves.

The training programme will provide participants with both theoretical knowledge and practical exposure related to transmission systems and modern power sector technologies, thereby enhancing their technical competence and professional capabilities.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. K.P.S. Parmar, Deputy Director & Program Coordinator, NPTI. The inaugural session witnessed active participation from trainees and officials.

Mid-Career Training Programme for MPPGCL Officers Concludes at NPTI

Faridabad | The National Power Training Institute (NPTI) successfully concluded a one-week specialized Mid-Career Training Programme for AE (Gen.) officers of MPPGCL.

The programme was organized under the guidance of Shri Hemant Jain, Director General, NPTI and Member (GO&D), CEA. The objective of the programme was to enhance the capabilities of Assistant Engineers in effectively addressing the evolving challenges of the power sector.

एनपीटीआई में स्वच्छता पखवाड़ा के तहत विशेष सफाई अभियान आयोजित

फरीदाबाद। राष्ट्रीय विद्युत प्रशिक्षण संस्थान (NPTI), विद्युत मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार द्वारा “स्वच्छता पखवाड़ा 2026” का आयोजन 16 मई 2026 से 31 मई 2026 तक “पर्यावरण और ऊर्जा - स्वच्छता की ओर” थीम के अंतर्गत किया जा रहा है।
इसी क्रम में श्री हेमंत जैन, महानिदेशक, NPTI एवं सदस्य (GO&D), CEA के दिशा निर्देशन में 20 मई को एनपीटीआई परिसर में विशेष सफाई अभियान आयोजित किया गया। अभियान के तहत प्रातः 11 बजे से एनपीटीआई कैंपस के मुख्य भवन तथा ब्रह्मपुत्र हॉस्टल के समीप सफाई गतिविधियां संचालित की गईं।

इस अभियान में संस्थान के अधिकारियों, कर्मचारियों एवं विद्यार्थियों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया, जिसमें डॉ. एस. सेल्वम (प्रधान निदेशक), डॉ. इंदु महेश्वरी (प्रधान निदेशक, प्रशिक्षण), श्री सुरेन्द्र कुमार (निदेशक, प्रशासन) और श्री दुर्गाशंकर साहू (निदेशक, सिम्यूलेटर) के आलावा उपनिदेशक एवं सहायक निदेशकों ने भी भाग लिया तथा परिसर को स्वच्छ एवं सुंदर बनाए रखने के लिए सक्रिय योगदान दिया। कार्यक्रम के दौरान प्रतिभागियों ने स्वच्छता के महत्व पर बल देते हुए पर्यावरण संरक्षण एवं स्वच्छ जीवनशैली अपनाने का संदेश भी दिया।

एनपीटीआई ने सभी से स्वच्छता को अपनी दिनचर्या का हिस्सा बनाने तथा स्वच्छ, हरित एवं ऊर्जा-सुरक्षित भारत के निर्माण में सक्रिय भागीदारी निभाने का आह्वान किया।

इस अभियान के तहत 16 मई को संस्थान परिसर एवं कार्यालय क्षेत्र में विशेष सफाई अभियान चलाया गया। कार्यक्रम के दौरान पूरे कार्यालय परिसर एवं आसपास के क्षेत्रों की साफ-सफाई की गई तथा स्वच्छ वातावरण बनाए रखने का संदेश दिया गया।

श्री हेमंत जैन, महानिदेशक, NPTI एवं सदस्य (GO&D), CEA ने इस अवसर पर सभी से स्वच्छता को दैनिक जीवन का हिस्सा बनाने और स्वच्छ, हरित एवं ऊर्जा-सुरक्षित भारत के निर्माण में अपना योगदान देने का आह्वान किया। साथ ही इस अवसर पर अधिकारियों, कर्मचारियों एवं संस्थान के अन्य सदस्यों से स्वच्छता अभियान में सक्रिय भागीदारी निभाने की अपील भी की। जिससे कि एनपीटीआई का स्वच्छ और स्वस्थ वातावरण रह सके।
