Water Supply Crisis in Wakura

It is unfortunate that the water supply project in Wakura remains incomplete. For the last two years, no significant work has been carried out, leaving residents to struggle daily for a basic necessity.

Many families are forced to store water in their homes to meet their daily needs. Despite repeated concerns from the public, the issue continues to be ignored.

We sincerely appeal to the concerned authorities to take immediate action, resume the pending work, and ensure a reliable water supply for the people of Wakura.

Water is a basic right, not a privilege. DC Ganderbal, J&K
