The Hastkala Setu Yojana Fashion Show, held on October 26, 2024, as part of the Ahmedabad Shopping Festival, showcased Gujarat's artisans and heritage crafts with the support of the Government of Gujarat and the implementation partner Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India.

The event was inaugurated by esteemed dignitaries, including Shri N.D. Parmar - Executive Director Govt Of Gujarat Industrial Extension Cottage Indext C, Shri Dinesh Singh Rawat- EDII Governing Board Member & CGM IDBI Bank, Shri C Umashankar-Senior Advisor EDII, and Dr. Sunil Shukla - Director General Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India.

This grand celebration, themed "Promoting One District One Product & GI Crafts," brought to light the talent of trained artisans, with fashion designers creating unique garments using artisan-developed fabrics.

The event also featured an exhibition with 50 stalls displaying 19 Geographical Indication (GI) crafts from various states and 25 prominent Gujarat crafts.

Among the showcased crafts were Patola, Suf, Tangaliya, Ajrakh, Bandhej, Bakhiyu embroidery, Applique, Beadwork, and Agate, representing the rich tapestry of Gujarat’s cultural heritage.
