Census office, Gujarat

On the World population day-2024 the DCO, Gujarat has organised an interactive session on Census of India & World population. Presentation made at the seminar conducted by the Population Research Centre M. S. University Baroda. Prof. V A Kalmakar, Director Population Research Centre and Prof. Haribhai Kararia, Dean Faculty of Science were present on the occassion.

जनगणना कार्य निदेशालय, गुजरात में ORGI के तत्वावधान एवं निदेशक के मार्गदर्शन में नवनियुक्‍त सांख्यिकीय अन्‍वेषक ग्रेड-।। के लिए एक सप्ताह का Orientation प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम आज दि.5/7/2024 को संपन्न हुआ। जिसमें सांख्यिकीय अन्‍वेषक ग्रेड-।। के साथ-साथ नवनियुक्त भूगोलवेत्ता एवं हिन्दी अनुवादक को भी प्रशिक्षण दिया गया।

समापन सत्र में सुश्री नेहा टक्कर, उप निदेशक, ORGI से उपस्थिति रहीं, जिन्होंने Jurisdictional Changes से संबंधित प्रशिक्षण दिया तथा उनके द्वारा सभी प्रशिक्षार्थियों से फीडबैक भी लिया गया।

अन्य सत्रों का संचालन श्री राजेश एन. मालविया, उप महारजिस्ट्रार, श्री जय शहदादपुरी, संयुक्त निदेशक और डाॅ. संचिता सरकार, उप निदेशक द्वारा किया गया।

सत्र काफी संवादात्मक और उद्देश्यपूर्ण थे। इस अनूठे अवसर से सभी संबंधितों को बहुत लाभ हुआ। उक्त संपूर्ण कार्यक्रम से संबंधित पाँँचों दिवस की कुछ अविस्मरणीय झलकियां ........

As a part of awareness drive on Swachh Bharat Campaign 3.0, After first rally in Ahmedabad, the Directorate of Census Operations, Gujarat has organized second awareness rally in Gandhinagar on 26-10-2023, starting from Sarita Udhyan in Indroda village. The rally comprising of 80 persons including staff of the Directorate of Census Operations, Gujarat, residents of Indroda Village and staff of Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation.

The Rally was flagged off by Mrs. Ardra Agarwal, Director at 9:15 am. The walk was of more than 2 kms moved in the entire village. Slogans to create awareness on cleanliness in public and to promote healthier and greener earth were raised. Banners depicting importance of clean environment, placards displaying slogans on cleaner and greener India were used in the rally. The Corporator of the ward Mrs. Daksha Ben also participated in the rally. The rally culminated at Indrani Temple of the Indroda Village. All the residents of the village have appreciated the rally.

The Rally was flagged off by Mrs. Ardra Agarwal, IAS, Director of Census Operations Gujarat. The walk of one and half kilometer rally was attended by about 75 staff of the Directorate of Census Operations and Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation.
The event was aimed to create awareness on cleanliness in public and to promote healthier and greener earth. Banners depicting importance of clean environment, placards displaying slogans on cleaner and greener India were used in the rally.

DCO Gujarat celebrated 75th Independence day enthusiastically.The
Office building has been decorated with tricolour lightning.
Today cultural programmes viz solo/group Patriotic songs, Quiz, Musical chair and Oratory were held in which all staff and consultants participated.

जनगणना कार्य निदेशालय गुजरात गांधीनगर द्वारा दि.21.03.2022 को अभिलेख प्रबंधन विषय पर एक दिवसीय कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया गया। जिसमे कार्यालय के सभी अनुभाग से इस कार्य में संलग्न कर्मचारियों द्वारा हिस्सा लिया गया।
